Ok, as of earlier.

Jamal Lewis is now in Cleveland.

We picked up Green.

And we know that the Radiers want a QB.

The games are now really underway.

What are your current feelings of what is really going on?

We had suspected that Cleveland would take AP, and we would take either a QB(if we have the plan in mind) or an OL/DL. However, with the Browns grabbing Lewis...will they still go after AP. I think they maynot be that happy with their own QB situation. Thus, took Lewis for now, they have Ruben also who is coming off an injury for a solid 1-2 punch at RB. Could Quinn be in their heads?

I personaly feel that every name mentioned so far(minus Raiders and Detroit) has to be for effect. Why would you pick up 2(Cleveland and Houston) good to great RB's only to draft one. After all, while Lewis is on a 1yr deal, better backs are coming next year.

So, now the question is what are the top 10 picks? Here is what I see.

1- Radiers
JaMarcus Russell, QB, LSU
The arm Al Davis craves, and a huge man who should beable to take some hits till they get the team going in the right direction.

2- Detroit
Joe Thomas, OT, Wisconsin
Detroit needs an OL, he fills the bill perfect. And Jones should be ready come training camp...no need for a RB.

3- Cleveland
Brady Quinn, QB, ND
Can they afford not to grab a QB here? They have Lewis now, and Ruben should be ready for training camp. RB shouldn't be an issue. They could however use another WR.

4- Tampa Bay
Calvin Johnson, WR, Georgia Tech
Gruden craves a playmaker...he gets him at #4 unless Cleveland needs a WR most.

5- Arizona
Gaines Adams, DE, Clemson
Bolster a key weakness with a top DE. I can also see an O-lineman taken here. But, their D is worse IMO.

6- Washington
Jamaal Anderson, DE, Arkansas
Just as his report says:
The Redskins need a defensive lineman who can bolster their run defense as well as rush the passer. Anderson is the most complete end in this year's college crop.

7- Minnesota
Levi Brown, OT, Penn State
Unless they move down or up to get the QB they need. They need a OL badly, and with QB's gone he is a great pick.

8- Houston
LaRon Landry, S, LSU
Keeping their word to give Carr 2yrs, they go with D agian. The RB spot seems good, and no real QB should be picked here when they will be around in rounds 2 and 3.

9- Miami
Alan Branch, DT, Michigan

10- Atlanta
Justin Blalock, OG, Texas OR Greg Olsen, TE, Miami
They want to build around Vick they claim. So, either pick helps protect him. Olsen gives him yet another target, and Crumpler isn't getting younger.

I feel we aren't showing anything as to who we really want. One day it was a RB, then a OL then a QB( due to Carr's bad play). I just feel that Carr will get that second year, if by mid-season he dosen't play well...they use Sage till the next draft.

Anyone else thinking we WILL NOT grab the top 3 players that have been tagged as who we will? That would be Quinn, Peterson and Brown.

miami or atlanta would take peterson. yes, miami would.

but lewis' signing is just a solid guy for depth. no impact on peterson at all.

Cleveland can take AP all day if they want. I'm all for going with Landry as our first pick. Defense, dogg, that's how the 2007-2008 Texans are going to win.
