Rules for Tailgating?

Can someone please explain the rule for tailgating to me? I have short notice tickets for tomorrow (freind called me tonight and asked if I wanted to go, but he doesn't have a parking pass). Can we still get in to tailgate? and if so, what do we need to bring? And if we can get in, anyone open enough to to tailgate with two 25 year old first time texans tail gaters?


I've tailgated before at txstate but the rules here confuse the hell out of me. Please help a first time Texans Tailgater

You can always bring your own beer or drinks, food should be covered. Without a parking pass, you won't be able to enter the lot until 3:30p.
