Romo and TO tift

I don't buy that they were friends anymore than I ever bought that TO and Romo were friends. If they were friends, TO wouldn't have been trying to go around the locker room making up stories about Romo and Witten making their own plays and all. Good team mates don't do stuff like that and good friends surely don't do stuff like that to each other.

I thought Witten was the guy because like I said it had to have been someone that worked with the offensive players a lot, and TO and Witten had a scuffle and had to be separated before the game right after that report came out.

Jason said he and Terrell never got into any scuffle..I will take his word for it.

Tony's best friend is Bobby Carpenter but he is really good friends with Jason..I think they room together and I know they hang out together but Jason is a married man with kids sooo maybe not as much as they did pre-Jessica.

I don't know if Jason and Terrell were friendly or not but I kind of think if Jason said it didn't happen it didn't..I mean a scuffle...after some game last year (maybe the Thanksgiving Day game) they had all 3 of them on the field after the game and they all said it never happened...

all water under the bridge now. I am sure Terrell will give us his version of what happened in his next book.

Sounds like hate? Lol!

Sorry, but there is nothing to hate on Deion for. He's nothing but an arrogant fool that constantly talks about himself on tv every chance he gets. I loved watching him as a player and don't think there will ever be another guy like him at the position, but I can't stand listening to anything he says as far as game analysis. He is no different than Irvin. All they do is praise the jack asses in the sport for being jack asses the same way him and Irvin both were as players.

I hated Keyshwn Johnson as a player for years, but as an analyst he's the polar opposite of Deion and Irvin. He doesn't sit there and try his best to talk about himself on and on and on and make excuses for guys like TO over and over for being team cancers. He'll actually call out jerk WR's and CB's and diva type players unlike Irvin and Deion who seem to congratulate and glorify some of the biggest pie holes in the NFL.

Deion doesn't seem so arrogant to me...he's very confident in himself. Perhaps that translates to some as arrogance but then we look at him thru different eyes. I like him; I really liked watching him play and I remember he was that missing element the Cowboys needed back in the day.....

I swear some of you Cowboys fans kill me with this stuff.

What did you expect Witten to say "yeah we had a scuffle, and they're lucky that I wasn't able to land a strong punch." Oh yeah, Witten would just NEVER lie to the media for PR reasons now would he? So where did that whole report come from then ha? Oh yeah, I get it the evil media made it all up right? I guess the evil media must have made up the whole scuffle that TO had with Hugh Douglas when TO and him had a scuffle there too. Yeah, hours after it all happened where guys realized they actually had a game to play and questions to answer from the media, there is just no way that Witten would have been trying to save face for the team by saying it didn't happen. He would never lie, he i Witten and he has a family, so everything he says is the truth.

I bet you were one of the same Cowboys fans that swore up and down for years that TO was never going to cause any problems on the team too. :spit:

Have you ever even listened to Deion talk for like 5 minutes? I can't see how you have by this last statement.

YOu mean as a Cowboys homers eyes where Cowboys players can do no wrong.

What does this have to do with whether Deion is arrogant? Are you going to say that Irvin isn't arrogant as well just because he played for the Cowboys and was a good player?

With guys like you around, it's not hard for them to get something started about Owens.

Three years, and all of a sudden he's a cancer after the team (t.e.a.m.) lays an egg in Philly.

WOW. I mean hell, it was only right there in front of your eyes on tv almost every week throughout the entire season last year but don't let that get into your way. Yeah, and that entire article and report on page one of this thread that took place before that Philly game where more than one player pretty much confirmed what a cancer he was. But with people like me around the media is able to work their majic on creating a story, but you're not fooled by it one bit because you see right through it. Lol!

Okay, whatever man.

Well ya know my mistake...I tried to discuss this with you nicely and you throw it back in my face..MY MISTAKE.

I think he was telling the truth. I choose to believe him. So I'll just leave it at that. I believe the 3 guys involved over a reporter.

Well yea as matter of fact I have talked to Deion and it was for more than 5 minutes..at the Potter's House in Dallas..his home church. Nice guy..same as you see on TV..there is no difference between him on screen and off. He was really nice to me and he is very loud and wears the bling bling but I never got a sense of arrogance. He's pretty much one of those people you either like or don't. I happen to have liked him but I don't know him...it was nothing more than a chance encounter I had that was work related.

Believe it or not I am an adult and have the mental capacity to decide if I like people or don't that doesn't have a thing to do with who they choose to root for NFL wise. I know that may surprise you but that never enters my mind.

I'm like Frog..I have dogged the Cowboys on here when it was deserved..TO, even Romo..while I am a fan I am not a "homer" as you put it. And I can certainly separate the two.

Here is an update. I don't believe anyone in the whole thing. I think there was a riff and it was probably not that big of a deal until it got leaked and Werder ran with it. Then people started taking sides.

Brad Johnson: I was not the snitch

Brad Johnson called to adamantly deny the connecting-the-dots theory that he was the infamous Valley Ranch snitch.

Johnson didn't deny that he discussed the T.O./Tony Romo situation with the NFL Network's Warren Sapp, who won a Super Bowl with Johnson as Buccaneers and referenced a conversation with the quarterback during footage of a Ravens-Cowboys production meeting that aired this week.

However, Johnson said he never took sides in the drama and firmly denied that he was a source for ESPN reporter Ed Werder's story about T.O. being jealous of Jason Witten.

"I don't know who was Ed Werder's snitch," said Johnson, a 17-year veteran who was released this off-season. "I don't know. I never asked. There were a lot of things said, and I stayed out of the whole deal."

Johnson said that there was a lot of "miscommunication" in the Cowboys' locker room after the pass-triangle story blew up, but he didn't believe that contributed to the Cowboys' poor finish. He insisted that he did nothing to contribute to the drama.

"I'm telling you that wasn't me," said Johnson, who thought that T.O. and Romo were both right about certain things. "I was not the guy who talked to Ed Werder. I have no clue who said this.

"I don't know who the snitch was. I know it wasn't me."
