That would be a cosmically stupid move. This isn't some 7th round no big deal salary maybe we keep in a new position. Dude's set to make $16 mil next year. He's not going to be playing safety in Washington and he'll get at least 1 rehab chance at QB elsewhere.

I don't think the idea is to play him at safety. Sounds like Gruden is just getting him to jump through a few extra hoops.

And I'm not giving my opinion of said move, just what it sounds like first thing to me.
