Top grade to lure ’other’ SC WR to NFL… South Carolina redshirt sophomore WR Sidney Rice reportedly plans to petition the NFL’s underclassmen advisory committee for an evaluation of his draft status, but mainly to determine the appropriate insurance policy to take out as protection against a career-ending injury at USC. Rice says, though, that he would consider leaving school early if he is projected as a top-10 pick in the April draft. In fact, the 6-3, 200-pound Rice was considered to be an early first-round selection prior to the season, but didn’t have a great season.

Looks like he might be going back to school. I can't imagine him being a top 10 pick??? Spurrier could promise him 1200 yds and double digit TDs to return which would equate to a higher pick in the draft.
 
People keep saying he had a horrible year, but his numbers are almost identical to last year's.

I'd spend a top 15 pick on him if the value were there. He's more than good enough.
 
He will be a high 1st round pick. top 20 for sure. burner speed w/good size and top everything else.

He will go ahead of the "other SC" reciever.

If he, CJ, Ginn, and Meachem declare, it should look like this:

1. CJ - top 3 pick
2. Meachem - AJ/^CJ clone. top 12 pick.
3. Rice - true #1 reciever
4. Bowe - underrated, top body control.
5. Jarrett - overrated. will be a #2 at best. possession reciver but better than mike williams...slightly.
6. Ginn - slot WR/special team standout at best. sloppy routes and questionable hands.
