Report: Larry Fitzgerald expects to move on

A source tells FOX Sports Arizona that Larry Fitzgerald does not expect to be back with the Cardinals next season.
Fitzgerald carries a $23.6M cap number in 2015. The Cardinals are obviously going to ask him to take a massive pay cut, especially after the 31-year-old failed to top 1,000 yards for the third straight season. But FOX's report suggests Fitz will reject a renegotiated deal and force the team to cut him, thus freeing him from a situation where he reportedly "is not happy with his role on the team." The future Hall of Famer apparently doesn't like playing the slot and being a complementary piece on offense.

There was a report a short while back that the Cards have the cap room and plan to keep him at $23.6 mil even if a new deal can't get done.

yeah, I'm thinking team did not want this out and may be up against the cap. He will be 32 before season starts and he and AJ have another thing in common.
 
I had no idea Fitz failed to hit 1,000 yards the past three seasons.

With the treatment Andre gets around here for coming up shy this year, can't imagine how Cardinals' fans feel. They must be ready to take an ice-pick to his family after three seasons.

Yeah, I read that but it didn't make any sense to me. I figured he'd be gone.

He'll have some interesting options. BAL? SEA? NE? OAK for the $$$?
