Reggie & Vince

TERROR DOME

Practice Squad
Wouldn't it be nice if we could draft Reggie this year and Vince stays in college for another year, and we get the first pick next year. can you imagine Reggie and Vince in our backfield? Awsome.

"we get the first pick next year"

My brain froze on that statement, because it means another 2-14 season.

No thank you. Mr. Young could become a Cowboy for all I care, just don't make me suffer through another pathetic season like 2005.

No, because:

1. This season ticket holder doesn't want to sit through another worst-record-in-the-NFL season.

2. Vince Young isn't staying in college.

I think he will stay... With the Bush, White, And Leinhart leaving USC this year why not stay another year and solidify yourself a heisman and #1 overall pick in the '07 draft? He would get way more money if he stayed another year and did all those things than coming out this year and being 2nd or 3rd overall..

Brady Quinn might have something to say about 2007.

With NFL scouts saying that his stock isn't going to get better (he's going to be a top 3 pick- the Saints or Titans will definitely pick him up - and White has no chance of being drafted ahead of him), Vince knowing which teams are picking early this season but not next, Mack Brown not intending to do his usual stay-at-Texas sales pitch, his financial situation, etc - there is no reason to stay. There's no reason to stay for the Heisman. He made his case on Wednesday that he should have won the Heisman THIS YEAR because HE won a national championship.

I think the chances of him staying are very slim.

I agree, but I don't think we take him, which I agree with.

I don't think we'll take him either, which is something I've been thinking about all season. If he stayed in college, I could watch him another year and I wouldn't have to worry about feeling bad that we passed on him.
