But the question is are the players we have right know that bad or can it be fixed with proper coaching?????LORK 88 said:Or we'll trade down and fix the rest of our team seeing as how RB and QB arent the only needs we have and arent even close to our biggest needs for that matter.
That's funnier than the 49er fans chanting DEFENSE. It would make sense, but CC and co. haven't shown anything to have than kind of confidence in them. CC has passed on no-brainers and traded away high draft picks for proven losers. Are there some good OL prospects in this years draft?LORK 88 said:Or we'll trade down and fix the rest of our team seeing as how RB and QB arent the only needs we have and arent even close to our biggest needs for that matter.

Wharton said:Yes, they are that bad! Its not all coaching, our players stink.
I was listening to ESPN radio the other day and John Clayton said that his sources told him that if the Texans ended with the first pick that they would choose Reggie Bush!!!!!!!!!CITY CAT said:Give it up all you people that want the pick traded, CC has indicated that he will pick President Bush.

Grid said:I dont know if Casserly has the juevos to NOT draft Bush.. not when everyone in the country is talking about him.
SheTexan said:I do NOT agree! Lots of young raw talent on our team. With good coaching we will be playoff bound in a couple of years, with or without Reggie Bush!
txnfan4eva said:Ki'Jana Carter = Reggie Bush??? We shall see.
Marcus said:Interesting. Didn't Ki'Jana Carter run like Bush when he was in college?
Somebody needs to dig it up.
Wharton said:Somebody else posted it on this board earlier, and I agree with this statement.
Reggie Bush can not live up to this hype. There is no way to go but down.
Nawzer said:I've been on the fence regarding Reggie Bush but now I'm firmly in the "draft Bush" camp...to trade down you need to get equal value in return and I firmly believe that there is NO one who has the talent of Reggie Bush in this year's draft.
Dime said:BTW folks.. Bush hasnt even declared. I would roll laughing at each one of you IF he goes back to school for another year. Seriously..
Wharton said:Hehe, and after today's game, he may just stay in school!

HJam72 said:He's not going to stay in school after watching his team mate lose all that money and hype (to him, lol) and knowing that his team will drop off next year. He couldn't possible gain anything from waiting another year and there's no way at all right now for him to actually know what team he will end up with. Toooooooooo many trade possibilities.
LCROD said:Someone said the same thing about LeBron James. Some people in this world can live up to and surpass the hype. Hopefully IF we draft Reggie, he can be this type of player. Thats why there's a draft, for possibilities.
Wharton said:What game were you watching today?
I agree, we will be playoff bound in a couple of years, but not with these guys. By the start of the 2008 season, 85% of these player will no longer be Texans or we will still be a cellar dweller.
tulexan said:Of course we looked bad with out Andre Johnson, David Carr, Domanick Davis, Jonathan Wells, Gary Walker, and every other good player who was either injured or sick.

txnfan4eva said:We have more than enough talent on the team already. We don't need baby bush. DD is more than enough to get the job done at RB, and if he wasn't, it would be better to sign a free agent RB in the off season that is already established. For the millionth time, we need to pick D'Braksaw. We can trade down to get him and another pick so we can get another receiver or linebacker.
Joeymousepad said:Everyone says that we shouldn't draft Reggie because Kubiak can turn bad RBs into great ones but he was only there a few years. Only there to use Portis, Reuben Droughns, Tatum Bell, maybe Olandis Gary. So therefore it wasn't him. He inherited this system.
