Reggie Bush to meet with Titans, Saints.

It's common courtesy for draft prospects to come in for visits when requested. That's all there is to this. Bush worked out for the Packers just after his pro day. There's nothing to that, either.
 
Common courtesy or, what college kid, no matter how much they are going to be making in a few weeks would pass on being wined and dined and told how amazing they are. Plus you never know what will happen in the draft or a few years after the draft. Never burn any bridges.
 
Sounds like Bush & his agent haven't exactly received a ringing endorsement from the Texans. If he was such a bonafide can't miss prospect & the Texans were going to pick him no matter what, then why would he be visiting other teams? I'll stand by my bet, that the Texans don't really want him. :stirpot: :yahoo:

Why? They asked to meet with him, free dinner, not paying for anything, better to be safe than sorry.

Better to be safe than sorry? That statement alone indicates to me that there's some doubt as to whether or not Houston will select him after all. Uh oh, is the Bush brigade starting to have some doubts? :stirpot: :D
 
Anyone else hear John and Lance this morning?

Some guy called in and said that he talked to somebody from the Texans FO at the barber shop. This guy said that the FO doesn't like the agent and will absolutely NOT be taking Reggie Bush with the first pick. The funny thing was how matter-of-fact the guy was about his info.

What's even funnier is that we're negotiating with Mario Williams right now.

I would think they would negotiate with a couple of different guys. Gotta have a plan B if you cant sign one of them. I wish there was a way to move down a few spots and still get Mario. Have a feeling he won't last past #2.

I always believe everything John and Lance say, especially if their source is from a barber shop. :ok: *COUGH*J/K!*COUGH*

The Bush visits are formalities, but also just business. He has not been given a gaurantee that we are taking him, so he's got to cover all of his bases.

I wouldn't be upset about taking Mario Williams, tho'.
 
I get all my inside info from guys in barbershops. This last time some guy told me he had just spoken to some aliens from a FO on Mars and they are definately 100% sold on him, and are going to abduct him to play in their martian league so he won't even be available for the NFL draft. :crying:

Yes, and I know someone at work that is close personal friends with Bob McNair and he says the Texans aren't really looking at Vince Young. Anyone else have any close connections to the FO and if so what top-secret information have they shared with you about the #1 draft pick?
