Just a heads up to everyone, heard this morning he'll be on after his workouts/meetings w/the team. The didn't say a time though.

I I Reggie should consider this his new hire orientation and that he is the Chosen One. Man, next thing you know we'll get busted for drinking at bars.
 
I would imagine it being after the Jim Rome show. Wonder if he will talk with Palillo on 790. That way we can actually hear what Bush has to say intead of Rich asking: "So, Reggie, what do you think of the amazing Vince Young ?":rolleyes:

Yeah, but Rich does Flip-Flop sometimes. After meeting Reggie, he would probaly start the "I never said I wouldn't like Reggie in a Texans uniform!" I would imagine it will be a phone interview.

Exactly. Man those 610 guys, McClain included are the worst at that. Personally i'd rather hear Palillo interview him.
 
Palillo would actually let him talk instead of interrupting every 2 minutes to talk about Teeth Whitening, or Trailer Wheel & Frame, or Go Dish, or Time Warner DVRs, etc.. 610 has become one giant plug for their sponsors. Give me the Palillo show anyday:twocents:

how soon he can contribute? blocking scheme is very similar to USC also getting into camp on time is important to him ....

joked around that he might be able to wear #5

has no tattoos

is ideal for the zone blocking scheme and is also well schooled in it .... 1 cut and go

also good in blitz pickup ... well schooled in it

will put on weight ... lifts weights like a "fiend"


is strong .... muscled but has sprinters legs

he'll be able to carry the load
 
Lord asked McClain if the Texans could get this year's #2 for next year's #1, this year's #2 & #3 .....
 
I listened to Bush. The kid is sharp, I was impressed ! He can expess a thought in a complete sentence. He's articulate. He's obviosly confidant,
but not cocky. If we get him, besides a great football player we will get
a classy young man to represent the Texans.

Yeah, i've heard that, the dude is extremely strong for his size.
I'm the exact same size as Bush and i can only bench 245 about 3 times on a good day, man i feel like a puss. LOL
 
He talked like he'd hold out during camp if he had to.

Said that he wouldn't want to give a discount just to get into camp on time.

That's what i heard on the 610 interview. Not saying it's good or bad... it is what it is. He made it clear that he wants to get the right contract.
 
I think he was telling the VY homers to not start the rumor that we will take Vince because he would accept a smaller contract than Reggie...:twocents:
 
It was a good interview. Nothing new but he came across smart and confident. If we pick him he should be a heck of a player for us.
 
I just like how he is saying that he is excited to come here. He could just say "I just want to play in the NFL." But he is saying "I am looking forward to being a Houston Texan." No Eli Manning here :ok:
