Rate the Texans needs

I reckon I screwed up on my list. I went by how I'd like to see them drafted, not by need.
I definitely think RB's a huge need, I just don't think we're using a 1st rounder on one.

I did the same...

Interesting article on Football Outsiders relating to our running game and Dunta.

"And the problem wasn't the Texans' offensive line, it was definitely Slaton; his teammate Ryan Moats ranked second in the NFL in Success Rate, and Arian Foster would have finished second in the league in DVOA if he had carried the ball often enough to qualify."

Not saying we can count on Moats and Foster being the guys going into the season but its interesting that in their opinion the offensive line wasn't as bad as perceived.

As for Dunta: "The Texans got plenty of quantity from Robinson last season (he played every game for the first time since 2006), but not much quality, as his level of play slipped badly."

well obviously they didn't watch the first fourteen. There were no holes. Very few any way. And I don't care how good or fast the guy is, if there are no holes you're not going to have a rushing attack. No matter who the Rb is.
Ryan started the trend the very first game. Rush every gap, if its a run you have the stretch and waggle pass play Dead on arrival. If it's a pass keep going to the QB. And until they, our young guards, prove that they can defeat that strategy, guess what ? They are going to going to see it every week in 2010. The eye in the sky doesn't lie. Our lineman couldn't block it....for fourteen games. I don't give a flip who says they can. They were watching stats instead of game tape.
