QB Golston no longer enrolled at Notre Dame

Redshirt freshman quarterback Everett Golson, who led Notre Dame to an undefeated regular season in 2012, and then to the BCS title game against Alabama, is no longer enrolled at the university.
Rumors on social media outlets began to swirl late Saturday and the university confirmed Golson was no longer at the school.
"Everett is not enrolled at the university. Federal law and our own polices preclude us from discussing specifics," school spokesman Dennis Brown told South Bend (Ind.) television station WNDU-TV.
The Chicago Tribune, citing two sources said Golson was not in school because of "an academic violation."

He is suspended from school for the fall semester. He will be returning for winter semester and will be able to participate in spring ball. Academic issue, heard he plagiarized something.
I like how the university handled it and won't make an exception for him. He will lose a year of eligibility but will return as a junior
