Prophecies of a Madman

Babbles

Practice Squad
Hello folks, babbler is back with his end of the season analysis. I know alot of people did'nt like me writing about how the Texans were going to be the worse team in football before the season started and the moderators would delete my post. I think after the 2-14 record staring you in the face sometimes its necessary to be blunt and depend on facts and numbers instead of faith. Lets get down to the analysis for next year. The fastest track to becoming a productive football team next year is to hire Gary Kubiak. The man is a winner(unlike Capers) and he can get Mcnairs moneys worth from that overpaid offense. After watching the rose bowl and I believe that Houston should trade down and get picks for the number one pick, Bush is a tremendous athelete but I question is ability to run straight up the gut. In fact, Lendale White seemed to be the better back last night. Texans should trade down and draft some defense, let Gary work with the talent of offense and draft huge on defense. With the first pick in the draft the texans select ------->D'Brickashaw Ferguson

So . . . old wise one.

How far down do you think they could go and still see D'Brick on the board?

No further than 5, likely 4th. The Jets will probably draft Brick if the top 3 are Bush, VY, and Leinart. If they don't take him at 4, the Packers very likely will at 5.

Don't be surprised if D'Brick goes to the Titans with the 3rd pick. Brad Hopkins is pretty much done and Fisher understands the importance of a good O-line.

If VY and RB declare then I think this is a very lickly scenario!!!:homer:

If Vince Young comes out and is still there he goes at 3, otherwise the Titans take Leinart if he's there.

Would have been a treat if we had coaches and a GM that felt the same way and did something about it!
