Blocking is horrible. The DT has broken through the line at the snap about 3 times for a tackle in the backfield.

They asked him about his knee and he said he just has to wait till it heals.. They asked what it was, and he said he has a very thin something. They asked if it was bone to bone.. and DD said Close. He had a bit of Arthritis in his knee and he has had it on and off since collage.

Bon Allen interviewed DD on the sideline, and asked DD "What IS wrong with your knee? DD said, "I'm missing meniscis". Bob asked, "Is it bone on bone?" DD says, "ALMOST bone on bone". Allen says, "Are you gonna have more surgery?" DD says, "No, I ain't cuttin on it again. I just need to let it heal up."
Bob then asked something about going IR, and DD said something like, "Whatever it takes" or something like that.

What is with these commentators.........they keep on babbling with Rick Smith without covering the game. The penalty against the TBs wasn't even mentioned let alone explained.

We may not have a winning season right away. Look at our schedule, its one of the harder ones in the league. I know thats just an excuse, but after the halfway point it gets easier. We should get some wins.

I just think Bush needs to learn from a expert before he starts.. that expert I think, which is a proven threat is mr Duce. If Duce can help him, and then pair them in the back field.. there will be no need to throw the ball... grin..
 
The only reason I could see Smith making the team is that he is a vet. Taylor would be the better one long term.
 
Spencer Tillman says the Texans still had trouble starting off fast. I suppose it requires a score on the opening drive to qualify. As i recall the Texans drove the field nicely on the 2nd posession, a scoring drive if not for the blocked kick.

I thought you said he had an alright night??? those are some HORRENDOUS stats...im glad your happy with it though...but you may want to start getting used to stats like that from the looks of it.

I think you are overestimated Texans fans expections on this team. We have yet to have a winning season. We are all hoping for wonderful things but deep down most of us need to see it happen before we really believe it.

DD doesn't understand or won't accept that his knee is not going to heal because there is nothing to heal. As long as he thinks this way, the team is wasting their time with him...don't know what putting him on IR is going to accomplish because he has already said he won't play with pain...

I guess the drunken Canadian can't see the goal. Missed two FGs in OT that would have won the game. Ends in a 10-10 tie.

LBC_Justin just said that you are overesimating our expectations. Many have prediced 6 to 7 wins; or around that. Not a lossless season.
 
Nothing wrong w/ optimism. I'm not expecting a winning season. .500 will be good for me anything above that is just an awesome bonus and I'll take it.

Any Texans's fans expecations would be something that you would not want to happen (be it realistic or more).
