Preseason Game 2 Thread: Texans @ Rams

bravo - just came on and I thought for sure I'd see some "sky is falling" posts from the first series.
 
The sack is on Lundy. However, why does Carr always turn to the pressure when he could have stepped up and to the left to then use Lundy as a shield by cutting the angle of the defender?

It is these type of intangible things that kill me about DC.
 
The backs better be blocking their man, or Kubiak is going bench thier butt.
 
Is it just me or is the game not really clear? Looks dark and muddled, well not really sharp.
 
Radio announcers just said Spencer missed block on roughing the passer play, missed his cut block on the Lundy run, then couldn't get out in front of Lundy on the screen. Bad first series for him

defenders were a good ways away but so was the football. it arrived about the same time as the gunners, booming punt.

NO... Carr was doing what he was supposed to do on that one, look downfield. Lundy was in the wrong spot to even make a play on that one, he just flat out missed it.
 
Nice looking pressure from the DL three plays in a row. Had their hands on the QB twice and forced bad passes.

Are you saying it was Lundy's or DC's fault? Because I said it was Lundy's.
 
Am I the only one who thought AJ should have caught that pass? He seemed to get his hands on it, I don't really think it was a bad throw by Carr.
