Thoughts?

You have Stanton being selected by the Raiders in the second? I wouldn't think he'd go that high, but they do need some help...

I too at this point in time don't see A.D. as a Texan next year. If he's not there I would like to see the Texans either get the best defensive back available or trade back a few spots and pick Levi Brown or Marshawn Lynch.

I don't think the Saints go Offense in the 1st or 2nd round, I am thinking they get help in the defensive secondary since that was their biggest problem last year.

I just dont think Payton would pass on Ginn if he fell that far.

With a complete speed WR like Ginn that offense would be awesomely explosive.

Comments:

I don't see the Bucs taking Alan Branch, he isn't a good fit for the cover 2 system. Anderson or Adams would be much better picks for them.

I don't see the Bengals using a 1st rounder on a TE. They need better players there but it isn't a huge part of their offense, and with the last ranked passing defense last year I have to believe they will address defense in some way.

I don't think the Broncos will take a CB in the 1st round, they could since Darrent Williams is no longer with us but I think Foxworth is good enough to delay them taking a CB that high.

I don't see the Saints taking Ginn, I think they will go defense and Ginn isn't what I think they'd be looking for, maybe they'd take one of the bigger WRs like Bowe since they have so much speed already, but I don't think that they need much on offense at all.

I agree with Silver Oak, I think that is high for Stanton. I think they could grab him in the 3rd round.

I think that is way too high for Marshal Yanda.

I don't think Beason is a good fit for the Dolphins and their 3-4 defense.

A lot of these other guys I think are a round or two too high, and I personally would easily take Chris Houston over Ryan Kalil. Overall it's not at all a bad mock though.

I honestly would be happy with those two picks if that happened.....

But i don't see AP there at 8 and not sure if Kalil drops to us in the second....but iwould be one DAMN happy Texan.

Alos wanted to point out if Laron falls that far to the Eagles....Taht defense is going to be a nightmare for opposing offenses next year with Dawkins AND Laron. Add Sidney Rise to that Offense with a healthy McNabb......and an improved running game featuring Westbrrok would make them easily my superbowl pick.

I love the Saints pick. Joe horn isn't getting any younger. Their identity is offense.

I think that Ginns value at that spot is too much to pass up. Originally I wasn't that high on Ginn because he looked like a stiff runner. But he has good vision, and a knack for taking good angles. the Saints would have a chance to be one of the most potent offenses ever. If the saints can get a quality DB or two in FA, and pick up Rufus Alexander in the second I think that'd be enough of an upgrade on their defense for me to feel comfortable.

Brees, Duece, colston, Bush, Horn, Henderson, Ginn....

There would be no question of who I'd play with on Madden.

there's about as good a chance as ted ginn being avialble where the saints pick as there's calvin johnson at the same spot.

That's why I said that'd be too much value to pass up.

It's a mock draft. relax.

All of this is just for kicks.

Everyones mocks are going to be a little "funny" or different.

They already have Henderson & Colson. How many weapons do they need ? They got punked on that seven play sixty five yard all run drive by the Bears in the championship game. They need a larger presentence in the middle of the line. I think that drive will weigh heavy on their minds this off season. Colts will be looking for another DT also.

Looking at his mock draft, there isn't a guy left on the board who I'd take over Ginn...

pretty interesting mock and a great effort.

-I've heard the Browns really like Jamarcus Russell, so as long as you have them taking a QB in Rd 1 I'd go w/ JR.

-I would be happy with our picks if that's how it played out. AP is amazing and RK is the best C in the draft...we need help at LT and C...Kalil would help that position out for a long time.

-I could see the Saints taking Darrelle Revis instead of Ginn in this case. They need a lot of help in the secondary..probably their bigges weakness. Revis would be the pick ...but

-the ginn pick would scare the nfc south. All I have to say is...Can you imagine have Ginn and Bush back there returning kicks....or even punts! man.

That would be three young WR's. Two first rounder WR's the past two years as well. Add Duece and Brees and that is explosive. ANd Joe Horn too.

i hear gb is interested in adrian peterson. any chance of a trade down with the pack? texans could still trade down and get marshawn lynch (whom i like better anyways) and add possibly another 2nd. that would be to potential starters, preferably in the secondary. cb/s combo? if that potential o line help or lb help.
