thanks, i did not know.texasguy346 said:I don't think Moreno, Swinton, or Chamberlin qualify for the practice squad.
THEFUTURE said:i would hardly call Thomas a proven producer, how many actual games in his career has he played in, how many career touchdowns does he have? the point is he isn't proven, and the Texans need to have a solid WR core, and most teams would take Bradford over Thomas at this point, Bradford might not even play much, as far as I am concerned, Mathis, Gaff, Armstrong are all ahead of him, and obviously AJ too, Thomas would even be further back, probably behind Swinton
Joppru does not count against the roster while he is on the pup list or IR.CyberTexan said:you guys are somthing else , yes we know it was preseason and he was playing against 2nd and 3rd stringers SO WHAT , thats what preseason is for to see who performs and who doesnt , theres no reason they shouldnt have made room for Thomas and to keep Hollings ? and Joppru a TE that hasnt seen a game yet . Defend the staff all you want to somthings not right
I miss Boki...dtran04 said:Sloan Thomas to Texan fans is to Bostjan Nachbar to Rocket fans.
Dime said:Let see.. why hasnt he signed yet. How about he has a few teams interested and he is working out who will pay more. Just because he hasnt been picked up means nothing. Most people who have signed, have, because only 1 or 2 teams were interested. Quit your 'haha, I am right crap" when you havent a clue.

The reason why is because of all the things we could have done, and it seems we just sat idly by and did the bare minimum. ............................................ I mean, what the ****. I look at how management sat on their *** and did nothing. It's hard for me to believe they aren't sabotaging this season. Give me your input.

Instead of getting the great LB that KC ended up getting, or trying to trade up and get Mike Williams...like I felt we should have done..., picked up a solid LT. I mean, what the ****. I think people just wanted him somewhere on the team, whether it was as a 5-6th WR or on the PS. Of course it doesn't look like it will be too difficult to get him back if the FO changes their mind.
Also you have to remember he was one of the few bright spots in a pretty dismal preseason, so of course people are going to want to keep him around.

Im begining to wonder the same thing ...
Not only did they cut ARGUABLY two of their most productive players on defense from last season but they didnt add much ... Morlon Greenwood , Phillup Buchanon and Victor Riley . They didnt make any moves once the final cuts were made from other teams .... Im sure SOMEONE out there could help them .... Only One team has more room left under the salary cap than the Texans ...Im thinking they are lookin to make some big moves in the coming off-season (5 year plan) and are writing off this season before it starts . (high darft choice)
It's hard to explain why the team made virtually no effort to upgrade their atrocious offensive line or try and get a legitimate #2 receiver ....

Anybody got info on this guy?
