Now that all NFL šŸˆ is in the rear view mirror, we know who for sure has declared for the draft and we have chewed the cud about these QBs, it is time for a new poll.
Keep in mind Texans will most likely take one at #2.
Gun to your head time fellow fans.
I have omitted some from the old poll and added a couple.

I voted for Richardson. I understand he’s not polished & ā€œnot readyā€ but I don’t believe this team is either polished or ready.

I hope the Texans acquire two blue chips with their blue chip picks. & another player ready to start with their third pick in the draft to add to last year’s picks & build a solid foundation with the new coaching staff.

Then add the new QB to the mix next season.

A lot of people feel like that and I get it.
I wouldn't be upset if that's the direction they go.

Hooker is my choice. His film and results on the field were every bit as impressive as any QB on the list. His throwing motion is NFL ready since it’s quick, compact, and comes over the shoulder. He’s a pocket passer that possesses the wheels to get out of the pocket and make defenses pay for their over commitment.

His injury is the only thing that knocked him out of RD1 and probably being inside the top 10 picks. His injury was not a career ender. He’s going to be ready this season at some point. Getting a bonafide RD1 QB potentially in RD2 is bargain. So that’s my pick.

Of the QBs this year i’ll take Young. But none of them make me feel warm and fuzzy. I think Young is the best bet to elevate the players around him (will likely have a subpar supporting cast) and best fit for this offense.

He has experience in a pro-style offense making full field reads and has it between the ears better than any other prospect on the list. He doesn’t have a cannon but it’s enough to make all the throws and he has enough mobility to maneuver around the pocket and execute bootlegs.

If he wasn’t so tiny i’d feel warm and fuzzy about him. But I will treat him like he’s a run-first QB (Lamar Jackson) and have the expectation he is going to miss a few games a year.

CJ Stroud has been my pick ever since the Texans had the number one pick. We could still get him even if Chicago stays put, but if someone ends up trading with them we can still get Young.

My other qb selection I would be ok with is Richardson if Ryans decides to draft defense first.

I see a lot of continuing debate here about who is #1.
Pony up fellas.
