We should take Brick. But we're going to take Bush. As it stand today, Pitts is our best o-l.
Everything looks good on your o-line except Mc. The main reason I want brick is it puts Mckinney on the pine. That is where he belongs.

Ferguson isn't about to be picked at #1 and doesn't deserve that high of a pick anyways. He is the best LT prospect in this draft, but I'd probably prefer Eric Winston or Winston Justice as they are more versatile and could play LT or RT, and neither would take as high of a pick for us. Either way, I don't see the Texans getting D'Brick at all, if they do get a great trade down offer they'll be targeting Mario Williams, and I expect the Texans to look for an OT at #33 or #65 but not in the 1st round.

Then you shouldn't be posting in this room...because you are wrong. Winston's got no lateral movement still...and speed rushers punk Justice. Justice is slated for right tackle. And... the best RT in the draft is McNeil not Juctice. And no I didn't read that anywhere, I watched them both play and work out. After Fergeson, it's a very long drop to the second rated LT Prospect. To make it more clear, no one ranked in this draft can beat out Pitts at left tackle. Fergeson would. And put McKinney on the pine. Both would be very good things.

If we were to make that pick, i think the line would look like this:

Ferguson- McKinney- Flanagan- Weigert- Pitts

Wade is going to be released and Weigert is our 2nd best OLman. I would he be benched? The most likely thing is for us to go into the season with Pitts, Wand, Weigert, and 2nd or 3rd round rookie competing for the two tackle spots. I think that after the dust settles, the '06 line will look like this:

Pitts- McKinney- Flanagan- Weigert- Wand

This would be impossible - just a couple of weeks ago people kept posting that the left side/center was set with Pitts - McKinney - Hodgdon. That is what McClain had in the paper and it was repeated here ad nauseum. It makes me wonder why they got Flanagan. Depth?

:sarcasm:

about the person above me...if hodgdon was to start, which i dont think is a bad idea because he was playing well when he got his chance. If we still took Ferguson and cut Wade i think our line could possible look like this...

LT: D'Brickashaw Ferguson (6'5" 305)
LG: Chester Pitts (6'3" - 320)
C: Drew Hodgdon (6'3" - 309)
RG: Mike Flanagan (6'5" - 301)
RT: Zach Weigert (6'5" - 309)

You get your TWO BESTlineman on Carrs blindside, and you get two mammoth guy on the right side...and you have an average sived center, to me this looks like a good line.

I think it would be a better bet that Flanagan starts at center and we shouldn't take a line-up stated by a reporter in the newspaper before free agency is complete, much less the draft, as gospel. The coaches sure haven't said anything yet.

I think if Pitts and McKinney are on our left side it is because they earn it in camp. The o-line positions are far from set at this point.
