Pictures from todays practice...

Actually it shows that Babin is not a team player since he wants to be a rebel.

How can Kubes put up with a player like that?:sarcasm:

On a serious note, you gotta love the way the RB is holding the ball up high. If that is one of the rookies, that is a good sign.

That's Chris Taylor burning the Texans defense. :redtowel: Too bad we're already stocked at RB and making the team will be a hard uphill battle for him.

Since 96 is Rainer, is Cowart still banged up? It looks none of the LBs from last years team was deemed a good fit in the middle spot this year so both Rainer and Cowart were brought in. We will see if that holds true.

Maybe Cowart's still hurt...I know he got hurt a couple weeks ago. The more he is out with his injury the more I hear the name Ahmad Brooks

there seem to be a lot of pictures of our defense getting burned.

Well our defense can't really tackle very welll without pads. Actually, I'm not positive about this since obviously I'm not in the bubble with them, but I'd guess that they are doing some type of two hand touch so that no one gets hurt. That'd be one reason that no one is getting laid out. Some days you see pictures where the defense is constantly in the backfield, it just depends on the drill and the pictures that make it onto the website.

This pic isn't clear enough for me to make out the numbers, but if they were wearing pads, that RB would have gotten killed. It looks like Mario holding the RB up, and #50 (I think) is coming around the corner. If our D plays the run like that this coming season, we could have one of the top D's in the NFL.

That's the nature of non-contact drills where tackling isn't allowed, the offensive player keeps running with the ball and gets tagged by several defensive players along the way so every play appears to be a 40+ yard gain when in reality it would not.

I think the LB is Morlon Greenwood (#56), can't tell for sure if that is Mario or not, it doesn't look quite big enough for him, so maybe it's Rainer (#96) or Weaver (#92)

I think that this picture shows that Flanagan is a true leader - almost everyone is looking at him, and McKinney even has his hair pushed up from his ear so he can hear.

Either that or he just broke some mega-wind (which would also explain McKinney's hair).

LMAO!!!! This was supposed to be the pic of the O-line walking behind Flannagan.

Ha. I feel dumb.

That would have been one of those hits you'd want to watch in slow motion and the sound turned up real high.

Tell me if I am wrong but it looks like Mario is getting blocked from behind. I wonder if once again he is causing trouble in the backfield and running down the RB from behind and grabbing him with his long arms.

^^To me, that pic looks like he outran Mario and then shook Greenwood.

Couldn't have outran him....He has a handful of jersey

That's not Mario....(no Adidas gloves or shoes and missing tattoos). Y'all take care of Mario and he'll take care of you. He's a great guy and great representative of NCSU and Richlands, NC.

My favorite pic so far...everyone's paying attention, there's even some guy biting his nails.

Everyone except Greenwood he is obviously not interested with what the Coach has to say he is staring straight at the ground. He will surly be gone soon.

I can't tell if he's nervous or if he has onychophagia.

Actually he bowed his head due to him being safe rather than sorry for what he perceived as an epiphany in that Bennie Joppru was still on the field.

Anyone else notice that Alfred Malone is at the front.

That means he obviously is making a push for the starting D-Line because he's closer to Kubiak than Peek is!

Maybe he's really really pushing to stay on this team, I hope he does.

I think he's bowing his head in shame...

My GAWD!

Carr isn't small by any means. Mario is a MONSTER.:respect:

He should terriorize opponents OLine!!!

You don't have to be looking at the Coach to be listening and hearing what he is saying!

It was sarcasm directed to people who over-analyze the photos and make outragous proclimations based only on the snapshot, I.E. my remark about Alfred Malone sitting closer to Kubiak than Peek because he was making a push for starting on the D-line.

For instance, taking oj's quote you could have said, "Your obviously wrong, Greenwood is still catching his breathe because he worked harder during practice than anyone else on the roster!"

Kaiser Toro said:
It clearly shows that our O line still has a way to go, since they would allow a defender to get to the QB to easily, and that Carr needs to work on his footwork. :)

How did I miss this gem. Thanks KT, you just made my day (and the gf is giving me a wierd look) :)

Carr is having problems hearing, Greenwood falling asleep. I see a team falling apart here. FIRE KUBIAK!! :)

Just in case Kubiak doesn't notice, someone let him know its 95 degrees outside and he can take off the sweat shirt.

I swear, these people from Denver.:)

I don't know - wouldn't a gray sweatshirt darken because of sweat in that heat? Is that just a cardboard cut-out of Kubiak? Is he some sort of automaton? What is going on here?

You're right Runner, we're being decieved here. Something's rotten in H-town, the sky is falling, Kubiak has been abducted by aliens.. or something.

And no, we're not over-analysing the pictures from the training! :)

I actually asked about the sweatshirt. The day I was out there it was about 90 degrees. I was dying in a t-shirt.

What I was told is that coach likes to sweat.

I wonder if the sweatshirt stays in July.

Just don't mention the hairband. People might go overboard with that one.

I don't think so. Now, if I mentioned RATT or DOKKEN - they might go overboard! :yahoo:
