Look at the hands. Everyone else has open hands hanging on their hips. Williamns has a closed fist he looks ready for the next play everyone else either has their hands hanging on the hips or in babins case his hands hanging to the side gasping for air. Williams carries his weight better thn anyone on the team and you can tell his conditioning is superb.

Mario has 7.9 percent body fat. He could put more weight on if they wanted him too. (Peppers as a rookie was at around 9 percent).

The thing that is nice to see in the pictures about him is how stout his legs are. Sometimes tall guys have a hard time muscle-ing up their legs, but his looked plenty sturdy from the picks. (As an aside, the guy has really long arms--for him to do as many bench presses as he did for combine stuff is pretty dang amazing).

As much as we have had the "Babin is fat talk" on the board, I don't see it. I saw the dude in person at the draft party, have a picture with him and he just looked like a fit dude.

Are you telling me you can tell Williams is ready for the next play because he has one fiist on his hip rather than an open hand, that no one else is ready because they have 2 open hands on their hips, and that Babin is gasping for air because he doesn't have his hands on his hips but at this side?

Andre is looking at the ground in that one picture. I think that means he is upset with his WR coach, doubts the new system will work, and wants to be traded.

I was going to reference that "hands on hips" post to you in regards to our recent body language discussion, but you've already seen it.

I think a snapshot image without context is a bit more difficult to interpret than what's processed when you personally witness a person's response or reaction to a given stimulus.

I think that this picture shows that Flanagan is a true leader - almost everyone is looking at him, and McKinney even has his hair pushed up from his ear so he can hear.

Either that or he just broke some mega-wind (which would also explain McKinney's hair).

Yes, but that hasn't slowed down the interpetation here, which was my original point - reading too much into meager evidence.

Can we get this man a beat? He is AJ the Whimsical Linguistic Poet-terrorist.

What, you're reading Kerouac or some other hippie right now?

I can't spread the rep, but that is a funny post.

Lady: Waiter can you please not seat us next to the man who snarffed and has milk coming out of his nose?

Is Charles Spencer practicing with the team right now? I have yet to see him in a single pic and as big as he is listed I doubt I could miss him. Anyone have any info on this?

Spencer is practicing with the team. I've heard he's doing better than Winston, but it's early. They both need some work.

I think I would prefer hands on hips rather than hands on knees.

After careful study of this controversial photo, I have come to the conclusion that the players were caught "mid-Macarena*", and therefore:

Babin can't dance!

*I could be wrong - maybe they were caught "mid-Time Warp"

My sources actually tell me that Casserly was trying to recapture the fun bunch mentality and was blasting the Isely Brother's "Shout" and Babin was actually doing the Gator. Some of the other highlights of Cass' "Pump up the Fun," that were not captured on film were: Face Painting with Bennie Joppru, Macrame 101 with Robaire and advanced Two Stepping with David and AJ.

By far my favorite picture this year..............

It clearly shows that our O line still has a way to go, since they would allow a defender to get to the QB to easily, and that Carr needs to work on his footwork. :)

Yea......... all I know is I am glad he is on Carrs team and not playing agianst him.

But really it is nice to see these guys smiling in practice and having fun.

Yeah, like the earlier one with Carr and Dre laughing together.

Quick! Check out this shot:

You can see that Weaver, Payne, and Babin are all busts this year because they're on one knee and Robaire is still standing! Smith-to-Pro Bowl!

Also, you can see that Babin is a horrible player because he has his hand on his left knee and not his right, like the other two...

:sarcasm:
Actually it shows that Babin is not a team player since he wants to be a rebel.

How can Kubes put up with a player like that?:sarcasm:

On a serious note, you gotta love the way the RB is holding the ball up high. If that is one of the rookies, that is a good sign.

Whos Defense #96, he was in alot of pics with the 1st team.

Since 96 is Rainer, is Cowart still banged up? It looks none of the LBs from last years team was deemed a good fit in the middle spot this year so both Rainer and Cowart were brought in. We will see if that holds true.
