Our RB situation vs. Dallas

With Davis probably not playing in the Dallas opener, I'm even more interested in watching the game just to get a good look at Hollings, Wells, and Anderson. Hollings is close to 2 years removed from his knee surgery, I'm going to be watching closely to see if he stills runs tentatively. Wells is in the middle of his best camp since entering the league, and Anderson has been a living high-light reel in practice, it's going to be a fun game to watch...hopefully.

Even though the final score of this preseason game is unimportant, it is still troubling to not see Davis out there to go a series or two with Carr and the rest of the starters. His durability is a big concern to all of us and it's not an auspicious start for him this season. All the more reason to get a good look
at Hollings to see if maybe he's learned how to pick up a blitzing LB or catch
a pass in the flat. We know he can run, it's these other things that he's also
got to be able to do if he's called upon to contribute some significant playing
time.
