Bottle-O-Bud said:Holy! Moulds got Peerless some serious lanes and when he got them, he exploited the zone hard. When he became #1 in Atlanta, he became below average.
If he come cheap, I would give this guy a try. Let AJ be our Moulds and let Peerless go wild. I am not saying it will work, but we can experiment. Peerless was so good at the crossing patern in Buffalo. He cross the middle like nobody's business and took the heavy hits. I am still a fan...
dalemurphy said:did any really talented LTs get released?
William.carter said:Not to sound like a jerk, but teams aren't in the havit of releasing really talented LTs unless they are old and hurt, not even either or.
Texas said:Simon wants a long term contract for more then 5$Million. He would be a burden on our cap room and he wouldnt play as good in a 3-4. Hes a 4-3 player. Maurice clarett I beleive would be a good pickup and ill tell you why. He has been shamed and **** on by the broncos. He has played like a high school player and hasnt shown anything but a hot ego. However when his ego settles he will become a good 2nd string RB. I beleive we could use a power back of his caliber because we never seem to be able to get that goal line play that we need.
William.carter said:I don't know if we are the team to do it or not, but I think someone will take a shot on Clarett because his contract is low risk unless he performs... and if he does, he's earned it. Denver was just too deep with good RBs for him. I think he'll end up in Dallas personally.
Hoth-Boy said:Petey Warrick was cut by the Bun-gels, and I'd take him over Price.
Hoth-Boy said:Being here in Dallas I dont think so. Jones, A. Thomas, Tyson Thompson(?) and Marion Barber III I dont think the Cow-Girls even have the room.
Algebrat said:What's the story on Warrick? Not that we need receivers...
I thought he was a pretty good player.
Peter Werrick is still hurt, he played in one game this preseason and he stunk it big time. He is not healthy and any thing that comes out of the Bangals can never be healthy. They are nothing but a bunch of losers.z0rpAn said:the only thing i know about him being released, houshmanzadeh rocks. Warrick might be one of those injury prone guys as well, I know he was injured most of last season, if not all and he was injured the season before that as well.
beerlover said:for those of you looking for a young LT I believe Oakland released Pete McMahon 6th rd (#214) pick this year. The Raiders are set on the offensive line with Gallery as thier future LT so no need to develop Pete. he played @ Iowa stands over 6'7" & 330 lbs. he is a very good pass blocker, he has long arms, powerfull hands & good footwork plus his contract should not be any problem. I just don't see the Texans going for any big name players/contracts the gems are going to be people like this guy you probably never heard of and because of the competition on a team in a specific area of strength is considered expendable![]()

Is that Warrick Dunn...? Suprised to see he got cut...Although it shouldn't hurt them too much with M. Vick and T.J. DuckettTexas said:Warrick/Simon/Clarett/Price just to name a few.

dalemurphy said:wow, let's get Ohalete. He'd be the perfect replacement and upgrade for Jason Simmons. He's a little bigger and he can play CB in a pinch and both safety positions.
William.carter said:i know nothing of him other than what i read on draft boards but he's more a right tackle than left and a better guard than tackle... the common thread between each othe the draft boards i frequent mentioned his lack of foot speed and foot work. Both critical to the LT position. He might be worth a look as a project but i think we have enough projct linemen. IMHO
