Only 2 more home games!

WWJD

Hall of Fame
I just checked the Texans last 6 games schedule and there are only 2 home games left and 4 games away.

The season has just gone by so fast. Are all the ticket holders that post here going to go to the home games left or is there a mass exodus of people selling their tickets?

This season has left a real sick feeling in my stomach after tonight. I really thought they'd play well tonight.

Sorry to break this to yoo but there are 3... St. Louis, Arizona and Jacksonville. And the're all winnable. :tomato:

Yea you're right. I had printed the schedule off TexansTalk.com and they have it wrong. 2 "away" games against the Jags. They'll win one of those games.

Hopefully some of these match-ups turn out better in reality than on paper, but this look like 6 weeks of bad football.

Rams
at Ravens
at Titans
Cardinals
Jaquars
at 49ers

Yeesh, I thought 'zona was gonna be a win for us - but after the shellacking they gave the Rams, maybe not... maybe I'll just switch that 3rd W to the Rams from the Cards?

... of course, I was thinking - wow, the Bills can hold the Chiefs to 3, then maybe...

But yeah, as a ticket holder, I'll still attend all games (actually acquiring "extras" from people that don't want to go) seems like I may be able to relocate my seats down a section after 3 years of trying.

Winnable? Have you seen any of our last few games?
We can't even tackle. We won't throw to a TightEnd.
We have an all pro receiver that we can't the ball to.
We are terrible.
We are among the worst teams in the history of the NFL.

I was wondering if they have been watching the same team as us?

Everyone is saying we need a new tight end, heck we don't use the ones we got...

The TE's are too busy blocking. We might as well not carry a TE on the team. We could just get two more OL on the roster and play a 6-man OL.

The announcer at the Colts game said they were running a set with 2 TE's and really confusing the Bengals. The one guy Clark had a record day I think.

The Texans should do some of the same. Who knows but it might work.

In order to do what I saw Peyton do we have to have a QB that understands the defense and gets the ball to the man who is in a mismatch. We don't have one of them.

I agree, Carr has some serious read-problems :I

Don't forget the staring down the reciever problem as well. DB's must love playing the Texans. Where they would normally have to geuss and jump the route Carr gives them a the chance way ahead of time to know where the ball will be. This staring down one reciever causes another issue. The FS can simply key on Carr's eyes and run to the spot vs. say a Peyton Manning where the FS better stay home or guess right otherwise Peyton will burn them. I know peyton has a nice OL and virtually never gets sacked or hit for that matter. Maybe Carr with a decent pass-blocking OL will be the same.

The only thing saving Carr from more interceptions is that the ball is going so fast the DB's can't catch it sometimes.

Call me a glutton for punishment, but not only am I going to the remaining home games, I'm going to San Francisco for the last game. Sometimes I don't think I have good sense. Must be Mad Cow.:brickwall

Excuse my ignorance, maybe I'm not following.... but watching the Indy vs. Pats game last week then the GB vs. Minn this week.... there are other QB's that "lock onto" recievers - or so it appears. I'm more in tune to what Vinny notes that Manning can make the adjustment for the mismatch...

I noticed Manning tended to look at his first reciever and was able to get the pass to him, also that the reciepient of the pass was different pretty much each time (no back to back plays to the same person) so he's able to pick apart the defense.

So, I can buy the play adjustment, but I guess I'm not buying the locking onto recievers as a sole issue.

Naaa you're just a very good fan. I admire that. You'll love SF. It's a beautiful city. So if the game is bad at least you can have fun sightseeing if you have time.

I wonder if the Texan fans that have tickets to the last few games are planning to go or are selling their tickets (if there is even a market for that..I don't know).

Yeah, if/when SF wins, have their fans buy you pity-beer to make up for the flight :)

I heard that our defense is ranked no higher than 31st in any given category.

Any team can beat us at this point. We need them to beat themselves for the Texans to win. :(

I think that the Niners main problems are offensive...rookie QB was playing at one time and horribly at that. I do believe they almost beat the Seahawks last weekend if I'm remember my highlights right so they are capable of playing somewhat good....

I don't know if by that time the Texans will have given up completely or will possibly be playing better.

I've still got tickets to go see the Texans play the Cards, and I'm still psyched about it. I only get to see about 1 game per season in person so I don't care how bad we've been up to that point, I just wanna visit Reliant stadium and see some professional football.
