OL Coach

Who do you consider the top 5 OL coaches. Can any one of them be convinced to help the Texans. I know Alex Gibbs (ATL), Seattle and KC coaches are good but who else. Have we had an OL FA that has played better when getting here than at the previous team? I would rate the run blocking as average and pass blocking as way below average.

What about the Patriots Oline coach, he is also the Asst. Head Coach. Or is it Brady that makes them look good? or both?

Whoever the guy is with San Diego was able to take a rag tag group of free agents and make them decent. Don't know if he's one of the best, but he would be an improvement on what we have.

That guy was with the Chargers but now he's with the Dolphins - Husdon Houck.

The Chargers current OL coach is Carl Mauck who would probably consider coming here if Wade Phillips ends up with the head coaching job. The writers would love that. It would be like the late 70's all over again here. But that's almost too much nostalgia for me to handle.

1. Alex Gibbs
2. Russ Grimm
3. Hudson Houck
4. Carl Mauck
5. C. Dennison

These 5 guys are good OL coaches and some of them are getting coordinator and HC buzz. Most of these guys are proteges to the top or some of the past top OL coaches as is the guy in KC. ANy of these guys would be great, but Dennison is my pick to come over with Gary Kubiak. Zone blocking scheme and attacking pass blocking scheme. Even though that means we need some mean SOBs to play on the line. Pitts is one. We need more.(Winston and Joseph)
