Ok, Here's a Head Caoching Candidate

How about Pat Hill from Fresno State. You gotta love the way this guy coaches. He's a fiery guy, not afraid to make gutsy call, doesn't let the defense dictate what he is going to do. He runs his offense against any team. Thoughts?

Isn't that the team where everyone is just a product of the system. Yeah, that coach is just a product of their system. :)

...and Capers is a product of our system? When did we get a system? It's gotta be Buchannon's fault.

Yeah, I don't know about that guy. To be honest I'm trying to get a successful NFL coach in here. There is just too much gambling going on already and this team needs someone who has the respectable resume.

Here are some names that should get thrown around: Tom Moore- Offensive Cordinator (colts), Monte Kiffin Defensive Cordinator (bucks), Jim Johnson Defensive Cordinator (eagles)...also if possible Pete Carroll, another guy that might get a serious look depending on his health issues would be Mike Martz...

what about Kubiak? His team has the best rushing game in the league, one of the best offensive lines, and turned a mobile questionable quarterback (sounds familiar) into a very successful one. Seems like he is just who we need.

How much of it is Kubiak and how much of it is Shanahan? Shanahan was pretty successful before he had Kubiak.

quite possibly it's the combination. but kubiak's lasted with the broncos for over a decade and that wouldnt have happened if he werent turning out powerhouses year after year.

It's still totally different being a rah-rah college coach than a NFL coach. You can rah-rah college players, but the Pors will make the same amount of money regardless. So many have tried and failed, but a few have made it!
I would like to see someone with NFL experience to clean up this mess instead of a college coach!

On the other hand, after a decade, why is he still a coordinator?
Lots of jobs have been filled in the last decade. As you have probably guessed by now I am not a Kubiak fan. Nothing against the guy, I just don't believe he is the answer.
At least you have a suggestion, that's more than I can come up with. :)

i'd like Jeff Fisher as HC

I also liked Gregg Williams as a defensive coordinater

if these guys sould be available.

Pete Carrol (from your list) or monte ..i'd like

I don't think the OC from the colts would fit in here or atleast his style of offense unless we gave him a couple of years to bring in the right players.. hmm reggie wayne a FA this season???

Some guys like just being coordinators. Look at Norm Chow. Being a Houston guy, I would assume that he would like to coach in his town, and considering that he interviewed for the job that Capers got, I think that assumption is correct.
