** Official Game-Day Thread** Texans vs Raiders, Monday Nov 21, 2016!!

I understand you can't tell definitively from these pictures. these just add to the discussion.

if you have the want to, to go back & watch, look at where L.Miller is on that 2nd down play. then look where they spotted the ball for 3rd down. in the 3rd down picture you can see the black line.

not 100% definitive from these pictures. but they support our narrative.

there was at least two other times I remember Hopkins trying to correct the refs on where the ball should be spotted. they were screwing us the whole game... probably the Raiders too. next time I watch the game, I'll pay attention to their spots as well.

I would be interested to see how the spots for the Raiders were. I know we tend to have tunnel vision and only focus on the bad calls that affect our own team. It sure felt like some of the zebras were on Oakland's side that game.

I've not made a determination myself, because every time I think it looks in/out, I see another clip that makes me change my mind.
Especially on the close ones, but on first look game time, I was confident they got it on the third and the fourth.
I have seen many, more questionable ones get the nod unchallenged in big games, but seldom ones as obvious as that third one get called short.

It is quite possible. Was it Corrente's crew? I think most of them are West Coasters.

The NFL likes to not send their officials too far from home, but I think that is a bad policy. So, as a Raider fan I used to watch Mike Carey ref Charger/Raider games; he lives and has a business in San Diego. Then there was Larry Nemers officiating Chiefs games. Walt Coleman officiated the Pat/Raider Snow Job game, and he's from Chiefland.

Walt Anderson I've had no problems with, but just so you all know he is from Houston and has a Dental practice here. So I'm sure you see him officiate Texan games. If not, that tells me something more about the NFL.

Brock has well over 99 passing yards today. Talking about earning your keep! Sitting at 214 with some garbage time yards coming. What a guy!
