**** YOU REFS! I still am in shock about those first down calls. That cost us the game. Clowney needs to go deck the ref in the face. I never blame the refs for a loss but this is 100% on them. They have taken away so many points.

Nope. 4th and what 3 or 4? Just under 3 minutes left with 1 timeout. Their offense is surging and our d is gassed and not performing like they did in the first.

They won't..it doesn't make for good radio...instead they'll focus on **** that in the grand scheme was pretty much irrelevant.
 
You guys got absolutely fisted by the officials tonight. That's the most poorly officiated game I've seen in 2-3 years.

Laser pointers, terrible playing services, 3rd world countries.

Holy ****. And they wonder why the ratings are cratering.
 
we gave that forking game away by being stupid. that was sickening. why do we always look like a bunch of pusses in big games. i'm sick of it and i hate making those payments for my season tickets when we we aren't even trying to win. doggone it.

Sometimes I think the NFL is fixed.

Texans lose, keeps them from running away from the division and Oakland is only one game ahead any ways.

Sometimes I think it's fixed...tonight would be good evidence of that. I'm sorry.
 
Seriously I think I am done watching football. The protests of the flag was strike 1, the annoying commercials and commentary was strike 2; this pathetic **** show of a game was strike 3. The refs lost us the game. The nfl is rigged and the world saw that tonight. Sadly no one will care and OB will be a bumbling idiot and claim that we have to play better. That game was stolen from us. Screw the refs and screw the NFL, and lastly screw the Mexican fans who pointed lasers at our offense and booed our injuries. Stay on your side of the wall
 
Osweiler's inability to throw the deep ball cost the Texans the game against a gassed Raiders defense. What is with all the short passes? Why doesn't Osweiler ever air it out?

I don't want to hear excuses about the refs; all teams benefit and suffer evenly throughout the year from poor officiating. The Texans should've won this game, or perhaps the Raiders should've put it away early but dropped easy pick sixes.

That 4th and 1 attempt was a clear first down. Clear. It wasn't even close. It wasn't even debatable.

I'd have given them the second spot. But I could see that one standing as called.

But it still does not make sense that if you're going to challenge that play after going for it on fourth down to not challenge the play before.

Its a tie game in the fourth quarter and you are in scoring range. You need to do everything you can to give your team a chance there. He did not.

the quarterback guru doesn't have the ability to make decisions according to the situation and he freezes in the headlights. he's the same coach as charlie strong.

Offense has been the problem this season. But tonight they actually controlled the ball in high altitude and gassed the Oakland defense while keeping their own defense fresh. Should have scored 27+ points if not for the refs screwing them.

The defense was out there for like 5 minutes in the last 20 mins of the game and gave up 200+ yards and got gashed repeatedly.
 
I am listening to 790 right now and the colors are ripping Bill O'Brien to shreds. Jayson Braddock made a good point about Brock's game. People were saying that's what they've been looking for him Brock, then he pointed out that he'd only past for 243 yards and one touchdown with one interception. He went on to say if that's what fans expect from Brock Osweiler they do not expect very much.

Here's the thing though..if the refs get the call right off top, the 4th down play doesn't even happen where OB is forced to challenge. The refs were horrible all night and like I said at minimum they single handily wiped 10 points off the board.

Crap like this saps morale and it's no wonder the defense went in the tank RIGHT after that sequence of horrible calls against them.
