I’m not watching the game, but this was one of my complaints about him in pre season as well. He tends to want to drift backward instead of stepping up.

Yep. Bad Oline and bad qb means neither unit is helping the other so they both just suck together.

If the Texans plan isn’t just to suck though, the easiest fix at this point would be to find a better qb. Knowing the system means squat if you can’t play.
 
If it wasn't clear before, it is now. Owner & office have moved on from this season. Many players to follow. This is the rottenest organization ever. Makes Bud Adams look like world's greatest owner. Just pathetic and embarrassing. It's enough to make you want to support the Cowboys.
 
jeeze I went out to wash the RV in the second half and we got trashed.. Savage didn't look so bad on the couple of drives in the 2nd quarter.. was that the highlight of the game?
 
Tom Savage just isn't any good. He should be a third-string QB on any team's depth chart. I expect some changes tomorrow. Sign Colin Kaepernick! Or name T.J. Yates the starter. Release Josh Johnson for crying out loud. Hasn't played since 2011 and he sucks. Wasn't even active for today's game.
 
Everyone who doesn't want a upgrade at the QB position by signing you know who please don't complain about Savage play you obviously wanted this because you want to lose with "dignity".

I'm fine with it.

This team wouldn't have won with Kaep at QB.

He's not good either. Not Savage bad but not good enough to win with.

I agree he isn't all that but a much better option than Savage, I don't know if we would win with him against rams but I'd bet my bottom dollar he'd put up more than 7 points.

Bill O'Brien may want to re-sign Tom Savage this off-season because he knows his system and is a quality backup (joke). Unless of course he's fired or something outrageous like that. I think O'Brien will be saved (free pass), even if we go 3-13 this season, because of Deshaun Watson's ACL injury. I think the O'Brien and Watson marriage could be something special for many years to come. Like Bellichick and Brady have been for two decades in New England.
