**Official Game-Day Thread** Texans at Rams, Sunday Nov 12, 2017!!

Tom Savage threw a nice pass on third down but Ellington just dropped it. Poor dude can't catch a break. He's reliable for a good pass once out of every five pass attempts.

Dang-It...AFN had the Chargers - Jaguars as the early game and wouldn't it figure that the game is going OT. Guess I got to watch it until someone wins before they go to the Texans game.

Tom Savage is one of the worst pro quarterbacks I've ever seen and I've seen some really bad ones in my lifetime. The worst one to this day, at least in my opinion, was Babe Laufenberg. In his seven-year pro career, playing for five different teams (most notably with the Dallas Cowboys in 1989 and 1990), he threw a career 7 Touchdowns with 17 Interceptions: A QB rating of 49.5.

I don't think Tom Savage will ever be Babe Laufenberg bad. His TD-to-INT ratio is only 1-1. He's more likely to hold the ball too long and be sacked or fumble the ball (like today) than he is to force more passes down the field for interceptions.

Although he's lucky he didn't throw a pick on his second drive. And then Savage nearly threw a pick six on his third drive. He should have two INTs in this game already but still has 0 instead.

Yeah, Savage can’t play if there is any kind of pressure and that’s almost every play with this team.
Deshaun Watson played behind the same offensive line and looked like an MVP candidate. He was breaking records and on pace for one of the best rookie seasons ever by a quarterback. Is that just a credit to Watson's greatness? If we wanted another athletic and mobile quarterback why not just sign Colin Kaepernick?

Somehow our defense looks good even without Watt, Mercilus, Cole and Covington.

I just hope we don't go soft in coverage later. But for now we're hittting and flying.

AJ Bouye just took an INT to the 1 yard line...but taunting penalty pushed it back to the 17 yard line. I'll be watching the Texans shortly.

Neither is playing Tom Savage my friend.
Time to bring in T.J. Yates?

Savage is hanging on by a thread but the Texans are doing him no favors swapping in Braxton Miller and this Wildcat garbage. How do you ever expect the man to settle down and get into any kind of rhythm if you keep pulling him for a down in every series like that?

You see an Offensive Line? I don't.
