After tonight, Osweiler stays 30th (of 32) in NFL in passer rating, drops to 71.9. Now last in yds/attempt at 5.7.

Houston Texans ‏@HoustonTexans
O'Brien: "It was a struggle all night offensively. Did some decent things in the running game. Defensively, they fought. Give Denver credit"

O'Brien: "Everybody has to do better. Starts with coaching. We have to get back to work and get ready for Detroit." "We need to re-group and get ready for Detroit."

O'Brien: "Our whole football team has to be more consistent. We are too up and down right now, and that's why we are 4-3."

PDS ‏@PatDStat
“When you come up with field goals on every drive. That is not a good recipe.” Bill O’Brien.

O’Brien says Newton has not even had a MRI yet and has no clue how they know what his exact injury is.

Aaron Wilson ‏@AaronWilson_NFL
Bill O'Brien on Brock Osweiler 'he competes and battles hard we all have to do a better job'

Was it murder? A strong opponent creaming a helpless one that never had a chance?

Problem is, Texans did have a chance. How many times did they have the ball deep in Bronco territory only to make bad throws and bad calls and settle for FG...

They had plenty of chances, and just waived at them as they passed them by...

Texans are an average team (at best) yet we still expect them to do better? Wishful thinking.

I actually expect them to suck at this point.

I just come here for the shits and giggles. There's no real productive conversation to be had about this team. Just a bunch of water cooler meaningless conversation.

They are what they are.

I agree. They are what they are & what they are is not very good.

Truth be told, before the game I thought there was no way we would win the game. I rooted for the Texans to win, but I didn't think we would.

After watching the game... I thought we could have won, if our HC wasn't a dumbaz. The Broncos were #1 against the pass. Below average against the run. We throw the ball 41 times, run it 25 times. & that's with a very manageable 9-14 score for most of it.

It's as if O'b wanted to prove something (that his QB is a stud) more than he was interested in winning.

Kubiak played to win the game. They threw the ball 25 times, ran it 35 times.

I understand, Lamar Miller got a stinger... probably dislocated his shoulder. But Blue was running pretty good. & Tyler Ervin is a running back. Maybe Ervin wasn't ready to play running back. He's only third on the depth chart. If he wasn't ready, again, that's on the coach.

When you get down you usually throw the ball more..it's just how it goes.. Kubiak was able to stay more balanced to run heavy because his team held a lead the majority of the game and even got out to a big lead.. the run/pass differential isn't what is alarming to me, but what is..is the fact that even though we did have success in our running game our shitty ass playcalling and QB still couldn't find a way to transition off of that to find production in the passing game... I mean the playcalling was terrible and the throws were even worse..they weren't even close.

It's just ugly football all the way around.

O'Brien should be on borrowed time.

I seem to recall someone fumbling the ball.
It doesn't matter; they were to lose the game regardless.
Passing is more entertaining; you get to see more ways how they sucked.
And you can spread the blame all around.
