**Official Game-Day Thread** Preseason Texans at Rams, Saturday Aug 25, 2018!!

The Rams offense looks dreadful. Are they playing all of their starters? Ah, I know superstar RB Todd Gurley is out. That's a big piece they're missing.
 
Obriens offense looks the same as it has for 4 years.

Watson looks healthy.

The defense looks good.

Then we weren't watching the same play.
After the pocket collapsed and Watson stepped out of the traffic he had room to his right.
Couldn't tell if the Rams had a spy on him or not.
 
Without Deshaun Watson our quarterback play goes way down. Is there not a better quarterback we can claim off waivers? I liked me some Weeden a few years ago when he won us a couple games, but we rarely used him since then and he's just not the same guy he used to be when Jerry Jones once said, "Weeden throws the prettiest spirals I've seen since Aikman."
 
Weeden's interception was mostly on Rankin. He was playing LG (for some reason) and got confused on his assignment. He let his man blow right by him and get in Weeden's face.

Bob McNair shook Kaepernick's hand during that collusion meeting they had in Houston earlier this off-season. I thought they may have kicked the tires on Kaep but we stuck with Weeden because he apparently "knows O'Brien's system". But sigh, that's all great to know the system but if you throw weak passes what good does it do?

Alfred Blue is making Weeden look much better!

Watson doesn’t make that throw in the game...

Fuller didn’t play and they threw 1 pass to Nuk this entire preseason. Meanwhile Coates, Miller & Ellington have gotten the majority of targets out wide. Seems to me OB is using this preseason to get Watson to develop his chemistry with those 3,4 & 5 guys.
 
Outside of his rookie year when he really didn’t know ****, that’s been Blue all along....he’s not flashy but he’s not as bad as people on this board say he is...

It should also be noted he’s playing against 2nd stringers
 
Weeden just sucks now a days. We're lucky he didn't throw an INT there.
Tried to force a goal line pass with two defenders all over the intended target. We'll settle for three points here.

Oh wait, nevermind. Nick Rose shanks it...

Jerry Jones is on crack, because even Aikman didn't consistently throw "perfect spirals".

But hey.. you're talking about the same guy who blew a load over crackhead Quincy Carter, loved Chad Hutchinson, and let "the clown" Casserly punk him with a Drew Henson trade.

Jones is the best marketing guy, but he sucks with player personel.
