The price for trade down was not worth it. Shoulda been a 3rd this yr. Hell keep saying no and no and no because they were desperate for Jammal Brown, make them part with their 2nd round pick.

For all we know, CC asked for a pick next year. Next year will be a better class and having 2 or more 3rd rounders gives them a chance to maybe get 2 1st round picks or 2 2nd round picks.

It's clear that the Texans didn't have DJ #1 on their board.

Spears, Pollack, James. All would be good fits in our defense.

We trade down and still get commercial

Ok, so what's the plan? Hopefully some teams will fight over Rodgers and we'll get a good deal to trade down some more...

I will project Marcus Spears as the next Houston Texan.

Although we should trade down again, we wont and CC has come out as a gigantic loser.

Big deal they passed on DJ. There were 14 other teams who passed on him too. Can we at least wait for the Texans to make a selection before we start criticizing them.

I agree. Look at our past. We are gonna get some good players. I just want to see some strong defense (buchannon) and a good left tackle. just 3 good picks... please.

casserly screwed up or draft thank you charley your the man no wonder you got ran out of washington.

Well, obviously, other teams agreed with Casserly that DJ wasn't the best player in the draft. He's a Texas favorite and I would have loved to see him in Houston, but that doesn't make him the best choice. Casserly knows much more than any of us about this.

Some people just cant see past their own nose.

ive got 4 words for you.

Carr
Johnson
Robinson
Babin

4 more

shut the heck up
here is 4 more Gaffney Hollings Joppru and Wand. Denial is tough. It is easy to draft winners in the top 10. The rest of th edraft he has gotten schooled outside of DD.

exactly, i trust charlie, he knows more than all of us, thats why he is a gm and we aren't. every year these guys come out of the woodworks and complain about what we do, just shut up.

and here is 7 more

those were in the 2nd round.... duh

We are still in the first partner :).. and we have an awesome history of getting the best talents out of the first :)

What CC basicaly did was to plan for a strong draft next year instead of this year. That's reasonable if they didn't think that Dj would fit into their system and Meriman went right before us. Well, what's done is done. Let's see if we can't trade down adn get some more picks next year again.
Otherwise, Spears wouldn't make me sad.

Easy to draft winners in the top 10. Tell that to San Diego, Cinn. Clev. New Orleans, Phonix etc.

CC is doing a great job every year we have improved vs everyone in our division this year we will make the playoffs

Im hoping we trade down now. Lot of good players we could pick up in the trenches now. What do yall think about the other LB Boomer Grigsby?

5:30 til all Hell breaks loose on this board, and guess what ANOTHER COMMERCIAL BREAK! eff ESPN...

Spears would be the perfect pick now. He versitile, able to play DE or DT and we could probably roatate him in anywhere, and from watching (alot) he has the ability to drop back in coverage and has good hands (used to play TE) for a D-Lineman

i hope they dont waste there pick on a lard as to block for carr they should tell the ones we got to do somthing or trade them "waste of a pick" :thumbdown :thumbdown

But he's no Travis Johnson

I hope not, Spears, Clayton or another trade down is preferred at his point. But I want picks in next years draft, which shuold be much deeper then this years.
