Oakland Raiders @ Houston Texans. 11/17. Noon. CBS. **Official Game Thread**

Makes perfect sense if you understand the incentive structure created by the draft. You don't do it just to do it. You do it for a specific target. And you do it if 1-3 wins can be the difference maker between drafting Amobi Okoye or drafting Adrian Peterson. What did those late season 3 wins win the Texans?

They could have drafted Patrick Willis, Marshawn Lynch, or Darelle Revis who went AFTER Amobi Okoye. What's your point?

I mentioned early this week that Watt had apparently re-injured his elbow. I hope that he has not significantly extended that injury.

Doesn't matter if this good ol boy franchise gets the number one pick. They had that before and screwed it up. Some franchises know how to win. The texans know how to lose.

Wade's scheme is just awful in the red zone. Everyone knows we're playing man and they exploit it. TE running the seam against an ILB lol. That's a TD 90% of the time.

I don't care what draft pick it is...we need a CB. How are we back there just 3 years after 2010?

See what your winning meaningless games is good for? Now our franchise player may be hurt. But knowing you you want watt back out there.

I dont want to be that guy, but Case does lack some top end speed to get to a corner. He's shifty and mobile, but not necessarily fast.

All you really need to know about the Texans is watch the pocket around McGloin when he drops back to pass and watch that around Keenum.

What does it matter? Shouldn't you be happy Watt is hurt? Since you wanna lose games and all.

EDIT: Your thread is just a few posts down from this one. It's not that far of a journey. I promise.

Here comes the unrelenting 2nd half blitzing. lets see how the offense can respond, I dont want to hear all that 'he's young' or 'its on the coaching' bull**** in these situations anymore, he's seen them before and he needs to do something different. make a play.

It's night and day. Jake Matthews could step in right now and be an awfully huge upgrade for us at right tackle. He can play left tackle also.

All you have to do to beat the Texans in the second half is keep going after McCain or Harris on offense and blitz every down on defense.

Is there some off switch that gets clicked on our offense at halftime?

Ed Reed said it last week....we don't make adjustments. The Arizona defenders were saying it to.

Opposing teams play soft defense in the 1st half to see what we are doing. Then they go into halftime and scheme to stop it. We come out with the same stuff. Zero adjustments.

Though you hated stupidity? If so why keep posting such stupid remarks. And if the thread you keep directing me to is for idiots then it's only fitting you started it. It should be the only place you are allowed to post anymore.

I said this three or four years ago.
