I think Keenum is the better QB overall, but we cannot deny that Schaub has been moving the ball better today.

I will take Keenums mobility, his arm strength, and him in the red zone, but I do like Schaubs ability to make the short throws and move the ball down the field. It seems like that's the one thing Keenum cannot do, however I blame that more on the O-line than I do Keenum.
 
with our record the way it is,

its smarter to lose with Keenum than it is to play schaub at all.

Playing schaub is a detriment to our present and our future.

Id rather play yates than schaub if you dont think keenum is getting it done. Its evaluation time now. Playing schaub does absolutely no good to anyone.
 
I want the Texans to win this, and every other game because I don't give a rat's scrotum about draft positions.

If Schaub manages to win this game because the Raiders inexplicably decided to stop blitzing, that is fine with me.

That doesn't change that Keenum is the better QB based on sample size and doesn't deserve to be on the sideline.

This is just stupid.
 
I always thought that the knock on Keenum was the arm and the pro was the quick release under pressure. In the pros it has been entirely the opposite.
 
Defense is starting to wake up -- need to stop getting FGs on offense, though. Though some of this feels like the Raiders are playing not to lose with the lead, much like the Kubiak tradition.
 
in one of the most depressing seasons in texans history i would think the depressing part would be behind us. but yet the texans find ways to make the season even worse. truly remarkable.
 
Statistically speaking, since Keenum started the game, does he get the win? Or will schaub be credited with the relief win? Assuming they win of course.

Case was struggling..getting pressured, not getting the ball out.

Put Schaub in so we can get a win.

Schaub looks the same as he's always looked really. Hasn't made the big mistake. Has made some iffy throws, but we're getting points.

Yep and if we start winning games and it saves Kubiaks job you have no right to ***** about it when we are 3 and 13 next year.

If Keenum is the QB then we want the Texans to win. If Schaub is the QB then we want the Texans to lose?

Ok everyone calm down. I too was initially angered by this seemingly shameful decision to bench keenum for Schaub. But I figured out the reason. Kubiak knows the season is over so he wants to forgo touchdowns in order to give randy bullock more fg opportunities. And we all know that if any QB can lead an offense down the field past the 50 yard line into fg range it's Schaub.


Dammit this effing coach is beyond incompetent.

I want the Texans to win but this team is going nowhere this year. So what is the point in playing Schaub over Keenum?
