o-Lineman with first pick?

Sudds

Practice Squad
If we get the first overall pick again next year, would you be willing to go O-Lineman?

I trade the pick down to 4-5, get two #1's out of it, then pick 2 Olineman.

Our Team needs, in no particular order:
If we continue with 3-4...
1. LT (Wand and Riley = bad)
2. C (Hodgon and McKinney both bad)
3. TE (Bruener is OL, Murphy/Rivers are not NFL quality, Joppru is Mr. Glass)
4. OLB (Babin and Peek have potential and Wong/Greenwood could both play here...this may not be as pressing)
5. 2 x ILB (Neither Greenwood or Wong are capable of playing a 3-4 ILB)
6. CB (Pburnt and Faggins are both Nickel back as of now)
7. SS (CC Brown is not a cover SS, and he showed last sunday he can be thrown around)
8. FS (Coleman has missed coverage on a number of plays this season and needs someone to at least back him up now that he is getting older)
9. WR (Johson has regressed horribly this year, and although Gaffney, Mathis, and Armstrong are all capable, we may need a legit #2 receiver to really spark us)
10. FB/Short yardage man (We have no one who can consistently hit the 2 yards or less mark. We need a Bettis, Jacobs, etc type of short yardage FB or TB)
As you can tell, we have lots of needs

if we're picking number 1 overall we trade down to a spot where we can still get ferguson...basically holding a lottery for leinart or bush...then our picks should be something like this...given that the new hc is more than likely going to switch us to the 4-3 defense

1st. ferguson
2nd. hali
3rd. best o-lineman
3rd. king or best TE
4-7th...best lineman either o or d with a linebacker or two in there

wasnt it our first year that espn ran the commercials with david carr standing on the field waiting for the ball with no o-lineman. 3 years later we still havent fixed it. they were making jokes about our line 3 years ago and we still have the same problems. GET RID OF THIS COACHING STAFF AND DRAFT OFFENSIVE LINEMAN.

Hate to break the you can't judge a RB purely by size news to you, but Domanick Davis averages 6.4 ypc on 3rd and less than 3.

I we don't get the point by now that later-round picks aren't cutting it on the o-line, we're hopeless.

If we don't get the point that good coaching like in Denver, San Diego now Miami and Indy can make a good OL at little expense, we are going to waste a bunch of picks. Absolutely take a LT in the 1st, no problem as priority #1, but priority #2 needs to be someone who will get the most out of him and the other players who we have and cannot ditch because of the cap.
