These people are doing the same thing all our other enimes are doing to our country. Trying to take our pride, Loyality, trust, and everything this country was founded on. As soon as you take pride and the American way out of the schools, then the court house, what next?????????? Are you going to stand by and let them take GOD out of the Pledge of Allegiance? Are you going to stand by and let them take Christmas out of December????? What about the Easter Bunny??????????

The entire idea of the "American way" is based on individual choice. It's your choice to stand for the anthem, or partake in whatever religion you chose. Before you start preaching about America, the founding fathers and the principles this country is supposed to be based on, maybe you should actually find out what they are...

Maybe there are situations we don't understand, like they couldn't bring broadcast equipment into the pouring rain. Maybe the person they hired to sing it wasn't willing to stand in a thunderstorm. Maybe the speakers werent loud enough to play through the rain. Maybe the person singing that day was a sick child who could have died from pneumonia, so they decided to spare her life. Maybe the person who was going to sing it was a war veteran who already had pneumonia

I can think of a thousand more reasons that they couldn't play it but just give me one GOOD REASON WHY THEY DIDN'T??>>>>>>>>>...........

It is all about the $$$$$$$$$$$$ they didn't get because they had to take less from each advertiser who didn't get their ad on during the game. If they play their ad before the game the sponsor pays less than if they play it during the game. Each sponosr signs up to have their ad appear at a certain time. If the game is not being played then they pay less. The network was just trying to save some lost bucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone think that they would let multi million dollar players out on the field if it wasn't safe. I think they could have at least had someone sing with a microphone and be in the press box. Hell I could have sent them a video of me singing it.. Are you going to tell me they couldn't or didn't have a CD of someone singing my beloved national anthem that they could have played instead of the person who was selected to sing the anthem

Thank you for recognizing my big, giant, massively huge Americanship. I don't whip it out in public too often, because people tend to stare and get scared of folks like me who are way more American than others.
