NFL rosters broke down by draft choice?

Is there a resource that shows NFL team rosters broke down by round selected in the draft? Probably it would include a list of all the players with columns for position, years played, and round selected (or undrafted free Agent). It would either be sorted with the players selected in each round grouped together. Or, it might just include a short summary of the number of players on the roster selected in each round.

Thanks.

Beerlover,

That is excellent. Thanks for the link.

The only thing that I did not see on this site is current rosters broken down by draft choice. I guess this is probably not the best time to do that analysis. A better time would be right after the final cuts before the first game, when the starting day rosters are finalized. In any case, this is certainly the type of information I was hoping for, even if it is still a little broad.

the Sporting News should have an issue coming out soon at newstands of the draft with pre-season anyalsis of each team (retails $7.99). ourlads should also have a newsletter recapping the draft but this requires a subscription.

until then you can spend countless hours researching each team via http://www.nfl.com/depthcharts just go to the depth charts and each teams draft picks are already slotted into the lineups. the rookies will be last in the pecking order (until they prove they can play and take another mans position) for instance Travis Johnson is listed @ NT rated #3 behind Payne & Deloach

I buy the-- NFL record and fact Book-- every year from Elias sports bureau in New York City. Cost is 17.95 . It gives you the rosters for all the teams with this information. Example Houston: Baxter, Jarrod Draft 5a-02. Brown, Kris RFA(Pit)-02. Also has all team to team results of every game since the NFL was formed. Example: 1921 Chi Staleys ( the Bears) 20, Green Bay 0.
The new season comes out around Aug. 1. They send me notice by mail and I send a check. Get the book in about two weeks. Look in local bookstores around mid Aug. or deal with Elias. I think the address is 500 fifth ave. 25th floor New York City, NY., but check to see if I am correct on this.
Been dealing with them for over 20 years and never had a problem.
