I always wonder how they vote for this. I thought I read somewhere that they just ballot players on their top 20 as top 100 would be too lengthy and get the results from that but I highly doubt anybody would have dennis pitta in the top 20 of anything other than TE's
Showing MJD likes to drop shoulder and deliver the blow...all I can say is "not this year or it is a penalty" (in 2nd and 3rd level)
Dennis Pitta made it @100. Basically, all 22 starters for the Ravens will be on this list.Yea, so, Jacoby Jones just made this list at #88.
This program just lost all credibility.

Just insane. They have Jacoby Jones higher than Anquan Boldin and Percy Harvin. Does that make any sense?
It's a nice idea, but is clearly flawed.
I didn't get to watch it, but I really think he was the MVP of the Super Bowl & should have been Baltimore's MVP throughout the play offs.
But if the players think Jacoby is one of this years top 100....... maybe we're just being petty.

90 Percy Havin
89 Cameron Wake
88???
87 Bernard Pollard
86???
85 Charles Woodson
84 Steve Smith
83 Lance Briggs
82 Logan Mankins
81 Jacoby Jones
Will watch the video now and edit accordingly
88 = Jacoby Jones
86 = London Fletcher
81 = Kaepernick
90 = Percy Harvin

For some reason, there is no #88
Anquan Boldin was clearly the better WR all year long and even in the playoffs.
And Pollard... hm.... Think I'll stop watching this list now...
& though Boldin was clearly the better player all year long ...
AND in the playoffs. Jacoby Jones had a couple good plays in the playoffs that people are enamored with. Boldin bailed out Flacco several times on huge plays and people forget that.

But he didn't dance in the end zone.
Well, I don't know about dancing, but he scored 4 times in the playoffs.
After I have taken a step back and looked at the whole picture.I could see Jacoby at 88.
That's even more confusing? Someone thinks Dennis Pitta is among the top 20 players in the league? I think the Ravens filled out a disproportionate number of ballots.Here is an explanation of how the voting works - Link
In short there is a very low participation by players. Even worse these are not folks the players thought were top 100 - they were identified as top 20 players in the league.
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/05/05/inside-the-top-100-voting-process/...on Friday, Eagles linebacker Connor Barwin said via Twitter, [E]veryone knows no players actually vote for whos on that list right?
...
So we asked NFL Network to explain the process, and to confirm that players indeed cast ballots for the list.
Ideally, all players would do it. This year, the league says only 481 of them actually did. Thats 28.3 percent of all active players.
...
To vote, each player lists only his top 20 players in the league. The player listed at No. 1 gets 20 points, the player listed at No. 2 gets 19 points, and the process continues until the player listed at No. 20 gets one point.
So its really not a top 100″ list. Its the 100 players who received the highest vote totals from players who attempted to list their personal top 20, presumably without the benefit of all 32 rosters or starting lineups or Pro Bowl qualifiers or anything else that would ensure they arent accidentally overlooking someone as they pull 20 names out of thin air.
48. Duane Brown
First of 4 Texans on the list.
Who are the other ones? I guess Foster, AJ and Watt? I'd have liked to see JoJo, Cushing somewhere on the list. But I guess Cushings season was too short and JoJo kinda had an off year...
I agree. I don't see any other Texans making the list. Watt better be in the top 5.
Best defensive player, anyway. I don't know if he is voted ahead of Peterson or Megatron.Best non-QB?

Apparently, you're mistaken.
apparently, im not

Anyone know how many more Texans are gonna be on the list? I'm thinking, AJ, Watt, and Arian.
