Why does the ESPN show spend so little time talking about the Texans. I'm so tired of all this Redskins and Cowboys talk. Redskins and Cowpies get more play even the Eagles and PAts.
 
I honestly think that we could some how trade a seventh round pick for someone like Ray Lewis and the story would be about how the Ravens let him go and what they are going to do now.
 
You have to admit, trying to explain how the Redskins can trade every draft from now until the year 3000 for a QB who will probably be taken the pick before, is more interesting than we are currently. Other than the PB signing, there isnt much to report on our front.
 
True, but they could at least say something like, "Good trade" or "Bad trade" instead of simply reporting it, but like it or not, national media won't really care about us until we a perennial playoff contenders or we have a coach that has a meltdown and continually screams, "You play to win the game"...
 
I doubt they want to say anything substantial until the trade is finalized. Buchanon still has to pass his physical and all of that so when Casserly has the official press conference announcing it, Im sure we will hear more about it.
 
However, in their defense, they usually have nice things to say about us whenever our name comes up like "That team is being put together nicely"
 
yea but as a texan fan i always get all gitty when they talk bout us....i think its just alot of us r jealous lol cough * me * cough that they never talk bout us....but our time will come

haha Yeah every time they say the word "Texans" my ears perk up a little bit...I remember on NFL Live last season after the KC game, we finally got some love for a win instead of the team we beat getting scorned for a loss...Jaws said something like, "I've spoke with David Carr a few times and he wants to know why we never show any Texans highlights on here, well, here you go David", then he showed a play-action pass to Miller with him going down the seam for a 20 yard gain...When we start winning consistently, the national media love will come...
 
Yea I was sort of annoyed the other day when in talking about Jamie Sharper
being signed by the Seahawks the ESPN blond headed guy referred to Sharper as the "guy from Baltimore", as if the 3 years of his life with the Texans was
inconsequential.
 
thats what u get for being a new team. i just hope this year we'll turn some heads and get some attention for being a good team thatr wins games and doesnt get lucky. alot times they say whoever played the texans today they must have had an off week because the texans beat them like were sooooo horribe....dang espn news casters
 
there have been a few mentions recently, when talkin about the Tedford factor, Trey Wingo was naming off QBs and said david carrs name, but then mentioned that some could argue david is on the cusp of stardom, and might break the tedford trend.... and also AJ was mentioned when they were talking about how braylon edwards reminds them of AJ, except that AJ is a "full grown man", and to hear it in context is better, but they said it with enthusiasim and giving AJ his props for being the freak he is, freak in a good way
