NFL Gameday 9/08/13

Agreed, but when someone has gift-wrapped 15 yards for you, you take it. Just the same it's not reasonable to expect *extreme* restraint when someone just takes a chot at your QB well out of bounds.

Oh, absolutely. Staley knows better than that. He should know if he goes over there he's asking for a negating flag.

A short while back the was another unsportsmanlike on SF at the Packers bench. All I saw was a little shove while Packers are giving him an earful after, I might add, he let Rogers go out of bounds unmolested. Bad flag there too.

I could be wrong, but it seems Green Bay is getting some calls today. While the Pack is getting flagged for holding. many holds have gone unnoticed. Happens in most games, I guess.

WTH happened to AD? He gets over 70 on his first carry then goes MIA the rest of the game.
Not so much MIA but more that Detroit decided to put 8-9 men in the box and let Ponder try to beat them with his arm.

That's the way to beat Minnesota.

Of course, trying to stop AP and doing it....

How come nobody b!tc#es when Brady dinks & dunks down the field??

Grass is always greener...

I dunno. GB may not see the ball again.

whaddaya do when you hate both teams?

:voodoo:<----- Harbaugh

:voodoo:<----- Rodgers

:kitten:

Ex-Cowboy Troy Aikman is having it his way. Both QB's today have been hit blatantly late and got the flags they deserved and what did Troy say after both??

"I don't see it."

:shades:

The GB secondary will be seeing Boldin in their nightmares.

Anyone have him on their FF team?

I know - they've absolutely wrecked kickoffs. Such a boneheaded rule change - I don't think I've seen a returnable kick all day.

And it used to be that when a team was down by 8 points or less with a few seconds left, you could say "well, maybe they'll get a great kickoff return so they are still alive". Now? Nope. Dead, since they are almost certain to start at the 20.

Boldin had some game. 49ers are looking every bit as dangerous as they did last season with a strong defence and an intelligent offense. Think they're a no-brainer for NFC West this year.

I have Cowboys to beat Giants next.

Wish I would have seen Harbaughs face when he got a gift on that offsetting penalties play.

He usually is a crybaby. Just wondering if he had a smirk after that play

The biggest thing I'm left wondering involving the GB-SF game: Why wasn't Clay Matthews flagged for "excessive celebration" after celebrating in CK's face after throwing him to the turf? That's exactly what the NFL is trying to do away with according to this:

The NFL says celebrations like the military salute are a violation only if they are directed at an opponent.

I already see this rule pissing me off in the future because it won't be called on a consistent basis.

:neener:....but i had him on the bench tho.....AJ Green, Jordy Nelson more than pulled their weight for me........& i still have Dez Bryant to go....

On a side note, im pretty much chalking up that SF game as a loss.......Kaep looks beastly.

That last INT......

I think that's the reason Matt doesn't trust his young receivers. They may not be seeing the same thing he is seeing.

They have a couple of hundred cameras around the end zone that take shots in synchronization. Then they just pan from one shot to the other. They've been doing this in movies for a while (Matrix for example).

I figured it had to be something like a zillion cameras involved. Thanks for that.

Now if they could only take ONE of those cameras per game and put it looking right down the goal line I think we'll have it covered. :)
