Nfl Draft Day 2

you think theres any chance of us picking up a QB in 6th or 7th? i heard kubiak say in an interview he wnts to pick one up late so he can groom him into a starter down the road or something. i personally LOVE josh johnson and i hope we invest a late pick on him.

I wouldn't be opposed to using a '09 pick to move up and take one of the pass rushers left.
 
I love this draft. First time I haven't gotten pissed off by the players we selected. love all of our draftees. I am sooo psyched for this upcoming season.

I have no problem with those picks. Just looking for gravy at this point.
 
The ESPN guys gave us some love.

Went alng the lines that while nobody may like our draft, it's our based on our board and 2 years ago our board (Mario and DeMeco) proved to be pretty good.

Why not. Plus Barber is a restricted FA next year and will ask for big bucks. This guy was BPA at the time and has the same skills. I love it. These guys can play ST, etc. I actually saw some things on him yesterday and thought he would be a tough pick for some team. Its more insurance a guy that was a top rusher in the ACC for 2 years straight.
 
Adibi is a great pick. Hopefully he's a guy that can cover the Clark's and Crumpler's of the division.

We all know what I will do if we can nab Johnston in the 5th :whip:
 
Justin Tryon to the Skins - I liked this guy as a 3rd CB covering the slot.
 
FYI, Antwaun Molden have by some been projected as a potential FS conversion in the NFL. Wonder if this is something Kubiak is considering, or potentially the versatility he offers.

1. Duane Brown, OT
3. Antwaun Molden, CB
3. Steve Slaton, RB
4. Xavier Adibi, OLB
 
This has been a great draft in terms of addressing postions of need but we still need to pick up a pass rush defensive end.

I doubt a guy like D. Robertson will be around in for our pick in the 5th, any thought on a player to address that need in the 5th?

I think that is where you take a guy like Blake an dhope his first round talent comes back and he gets straight.
 
anyone think Tony Hills would be a good fit if drafted in 6th or 7th round? another converted TE who I think has a ton of upside. coming off injuries, who knows...maybe Gibbs would like him in camp?
