NFL.com Poll

This season would definitely be the Jags. I think the Texans could potentially overtake the Jags as 2nd place in the division if we put together a really good year and the Jags falter a little, but I don't think we have the capability of overtaking the Colts yet. Conversely, I think if the Jags put together another good year they do have the ability to overtake the Colts.

I'm going with the Jags on this poll. I think the Colts regressed with losing Edge and a couple defensive starters, whereas Jimmy Smith was a big loss for the Jags. But the Jags drafted for replacements the past couple drafts for him. They also got a tight end that was much needed.

The Jags won't come close to last year's team or record. They lost Akin Ayodele and Jimmy Smith and won't have such an easy schedule.

The Colts lost their Edge and wouldn't dream of going 13-0 again. Edge was a major reason for their success last year.

The Texans, on the other hand, are vastly improved from last year, as well as 2004, our 7-9 season.

The Titans lost Steve McNair and most of their FA acquisitions are replacements for guys they lost.

Jags but i dont think they are going to be close to what they were last year with the lose of Jimmy Smith but i think we will be close by.:logo:

Jags. As long as they have Henderson & Stroud healthy, they can stop the run.
Recievers are inexperenced...but as a group I like them. Matt Jones will have a good year. as mentioned befor, they've got a speedy TE to work the zone. they make it to their bye over 500, they've got a shot at the division. they're like us brutal schedule opening up.

Jaguars my ass.

If not the Jags, then who?
Certainly not the Possum Holler Hillbillies and certainly not the Texans.

Although I really think the Colts are going to fizzle out this season. Mark my words, the Colts will plummet to 6-10. (which will still be good enough to be ahead of Bud's evil little monkeys.)

Curious as to why you think that? They have Manning, 3 great receivers, a great TE, solid OL, a stout DL(Mathis,Freeney,Simon), and a great home-field advantage with that turf.
