I did have explainations but got erased while sending them and they were too long to repeat. Sorry

Settle down Francis, er dansby21. That's just 3TP being 3TP.

Let me put a few of my explainations behind your list:

Everette Brown - He's a proven pass rusher at the collegiate level who could project to SAM. Not that different than a Clay Matthews, except Brown was more productive in college.

BJ Raji - He's a wide body DT and many believe the Texans need a wide body. Even though the Texans may not concur.

Maybin - See Brown, Everette.

Wells - He's a big back that the Texans need. They just won't take him with their first pick.

Cushing - A prototype SAM that's NFL ready. But, is he worth a first round pick?

Davis - This organization won't touch Davis.

Tyson Jackson - Would have made sense prior to the Antonio Smith signing.

Jenkins - He looks like the type of CB the Texans prefer. Or is he a FS? I think the Texans would have to consider Jenkins.

Jerry - A duplicate of Amobi Okoye. Not seeing this.

Ayers - A college DE who occasionaly stood up as a pass rusher. A late bloomer probably can't project as an OLB. Again, would have been more likely before free agency.

I concur

Thanks Lucky! I get so upset I dont have alot of time posting things then when I do they get deleted. Anyone know why E. Brown is droping?

Brown didn't really blow up at the combine field day, as one would expect from his game tape. Plus, there's some legitimate concern that he might not hold up at the point of attack versus the run.

The closer we get to the draft, the more negative stuff we hear regarding the top prospects. That's the nature of the draft. There are no flawless prospects. It's the good teams that focus on what a player can do well and understand how they can implement his skills into the team.

That and the fact that he looked stiffer than expected which raises doubt about his ability to drop into coverage.

We're going to post about football and the draft. Or not post at all.

As far as Brown dropping back in coverage, he was never asked to do that in college. He was an upfield player, and he's best served as an upfield player in the pros. Brown doesn't look stiff at all when he's chasing down QBs and RBs, so I'm wondering if it's more inexperience in coverage technique than any physical limitations.

Lucky your the Man again. I let my foolish pride say words of hate. Yes this is about football so let me explain my reasoning.

Lucky, I've seen him dropped back a few times.
Can't remember which game though.
He looks alright.
Didn't raise any concern at all.

I will try to rewatch at least one game.
