Anybody else have this happen? Come Sunday, I get to yelling at the TV and my dogs take off and hide. Poor things, they must think I'm mad at them.

Actually, Max just sits on the couch and watches the game too. Every time we end up scoring a TD he ends up barking... so he's been pretty quiet this year.

My cat does end up going into the back room though. Can't blame her.

One of my black labs does not like game days. When I start getting loud, good or bad she heads for a back bedroom.

Our dog, Cody, was a rescue dog and had been abused in a former life. We really have to watch it with him while watching football. We have been going to the watch parties this year, he is much happier.

Two of them go hide in the bedroom, while the other lays on the couch and looks at me as if she's thinking ' wow, why is she screaming at that big black box??' They haven't learned yet, and I doubt they will!

My cat only gets scared occasionally cuz the only time I jump up and scream is when we make an outstanding play...

My pets and get startled when I jump up and yell...and if the game is going bad The wife takes the kid out of the room.....then i can stop using words like Mother marbles.... or holy fishnuts.

Near the end of the Colts game, I kicked the little ottoman in front of my chair, it rolled across the room, hit our liquor stand, and broke a wine glass. My gameday companion (bottle of Jack Daniels) also fell on the floor, but did not break.

My dog usually just sleeps. I think she's just waiting for something interesting to happen on TV, which usually is slim to none.

LOL My Beagle just snoozes on our bed right through games. Every now and then he'll wake up from his snoring slumber if I throw something at the TV or when I'm eating my football munchies.

One of my dachshunds is named Dammutt...she thinks she is in serious trouble on away game Sundays...at least this year. :)
