My Mock

Texans>Colts

Waterboy
1. Houston-Reggie Bush. Best guy availible. There is no way u can't draft this guy if he is avaible. He has the talnet of Barry Sanders and Walter Payton.

2. New Orleans-Matt Lienart. Well, Arron Brooks and the Saints just can't get along so Brooks is gone and no they need a QB. Every1 says Lienart is the best QB out there so they snag him b4 the titans can.

3. Tennessee-Vince Young. This guy was great all year. HAd a huge game agaisnt USC and won them Longhorns the rose bowl. He also put up about 400 of their 500 yds that game. That is pretty amazing considering their facing the #1 team. Well, the Titans need him because McNair is having all sorts of problems. Getting Injured, Sucking it up, and ruining the teams chance 2 b good. Titans need a new QB and this is the guy 2 get.

4. N.Y. Jets-D'Brick Fegurson- Best O-line man in the drafty. Jets have a very old O-line with Mawae, Fabini, and Kendell. They already have good young D so the most needed position is OT.

5. Green Bay- AJ Hawk- Packers need Defense. Theri offense will b fine if Walker and Green say healthy. A.J. Hawk i think is the best Defensive player out there and the packers would love 2 see Nail Diggs, Nick Barnett, and A.J Hawk 4 linebackers.

6. Oakland (Coin Toss and Raiders win) Mario Williams. As we all no the Raiders have a terrifying Defense. It is a discrace. THeir offense is fine. I think they need this guy because he is a great leader and great DE who can put preasure on the QB. They need some1 else 2 get sacks besides Burgess.

7. San Francisco (Coin Toss and Raiders win) Vernon Davis. I think Alex Smith needs some1 2 throw 2. This guy is an excellent Blocker and Catcher. He will b Alex's main target since Brandon Lyodd is leaving them.

8. Buffalo- Haloti Ngata. Bills need another run stopper besides Sam Adams who is getting old. He will fit perfect in this system.

9. Detroit- Mathius Kiwanuka- Have been a bunch of *******s the past year and have been getting WR's when they need Defense. Mathius will finally give them some1 who can put preasure on the QB and make the QB throw INT s. This won't make this Defesne Good, but it will make them a little Below Average.

10. Arizona- Jay Cutler. Kurt Warne ris doing great but is 2 old. Cutler won't start this year but will b in there next year. If this guy had any talent around him like Lienart people would say he is the best QB here. He will love having Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin as his 2 WR's

11. St. Louis Jimmy Williams- Just like the Raiders. have a good offense but D sucks. THey really need help in the backfield. THere D-line is fine led by Lenord Little and they will get a LB in the 2nd round. Adam Artchuleta will finally have some1 2 help him.

12. Cleveland - Michael Huff. Tremendous Saftey. This offense isn't looking bad with Charlie Frye, Braylon Edwards, Dennis Northcut, Ruben Droughns, and Kellen Winslow. If they stay healthy there fine. I think they need someone in the backfield who can step it up.

13. Baltimore - DeAngelo Williams- Time to release Jamal Lewis. Not himself anymore. They need offense badly. This guy can b a huge playmaker

14. Philadelphia - Lendell White- Eagles need a RB. I think they will switch westbrook 2 reciever. The way he has been catching and not running. They will have a good offense here with this power RB

15. Atlanta - Chad Greenway- Atlanta’s Defense was bad this year. They need someone else besdies brooking and hall 2 make plays. This is the guy who can blitz, tackle, and run fast.

16. Miami- Winton Justice- O-line sux. They need 2 help brown and give their QB more time in the Pocket.

17. Minnesota - Santonio Holmes- Cullpepper is gonna need another good WR if williamson gets traded. Burlesson and no one else. This will help their offense out.

18. Dallas- Demeco Ryans- Very old team here. Their offense is fine with Bledsoem, Jones, and Meshawn. Their Defense needs 2 stop the run. This is the guy 2 pick.

19. San Diego- Brodrick Bunkley- This team is a good team. Just need 2 add another O-line weapon 2 the offense.

20. Kansas City- Tamba Hali- I woul dlike 2 c this guy next 2 jared Allen. A great Pass rush in the future. KC needs Defense Badly.

21. New England- Chad Jackson- Give Brady a WR. Brown and Givens r leaving they really need a WR. Can’t rely on Branch.

22. Denver (from Washington) Ko Simpson- There secondary will b amazing with him, lynch, and bailey. Make it unstoppbale.

23. Tampa Bay- Marcus McNiel- TB offensive line sux. They need 2 give simms time in the pocket 4 him 2 b a good QB.

24. Cincinnati - Bobby Carpenter- Cinci has a greaty offewnse but bad D. This is the best Defensive player left.

25. N.Y. Giants - Ernie Sims- As we saw this year the giants had LB injury problems. This guy will b a solid backup if another 1 gets injured next year.

26. Chicago- Mercedes Lewis- Bears have no TE. Grossamn would love 2 have another Target besides Muhameed.
27. Carolina- Claude Wroten- I think carolina shopuld b a super bowl team. They really don’t need anything. I think the panthers r high on this guy tho.

28. Jacksonville- Luarance Maroney- Fred Taylor ain’t good anymore. They need offense and a running game. This is the best RB avaliable.

29. Denver- Maurice Stovall- Rod Smith is getting old. I think they will like 2 have him as another WR in the future with Lelie.

30. Indianapolis- Ty Hill. Please just help their Defesne out. Their secandary is getting killed.

31. Seattle (Pitt wins Superbowl)- Darnell Bing- Seatlle needs a D. Add this saftey and they will b a top 5 factor in Pass Defense

32. Pittsburgh (Pitt wins Superbowl)- Jonathan Scott- They don’t need any1. This is a good young tackle tho. Could b the next Orlando Pace some say.

Any thoughts?

13. Baltimore - DeAngelo Williams

14. Philadelphia - Lendell White- Eagles need a RB. I think they will switch westbrook 2 reciever. The way he has been catching and not running. They will have a good offense here with this power RB

Up to here this mock was looking really good but I think the Ravens would choose White over Williams since White is flashier and more like Jamal and they always make the flashy pick but still RB so I'll give you good pick there, but the Eagles don't need an RB. They have Westbrook and Moats and more importantly, other holes in more significant places.

17. Minnesota - Santonio Holmes- Cullpepper is gonna need another good WR if williamson gets traded. Burlesson and no one else. This will help their offense out.

Right here is an awesome pick. I don't think the Vikings want Maroney and I think they'll end up using any excuse not to get him.

18. Dallas- Demeco Ryans

Same thing I say for when people have him going to the Browns, hes undersized for a 3-4 D, and you can argue about his leadership and blah blah but this man is small and not fast and if you put undersized guys into a 3-4 you WILL fail (Just look at the Texans)

19. San Diego- Brodrick Bunkley- This team is a good team. Just need 2 add another O-line weapon 2 the offense.

BB is too small to play in a 3-4 D period, but the way you talk about him makes it sound like you think hes an OL?

21. New England- Chad Jackson

I think the Pats will address WR in later rounds since they also have to fix LB, CB, RB, and then WR

28. Jacksonville- Luarance Maroney

Great pick.

29. Denver- Maurice Stovall

At this point this is a huge, HUGE reach and fans would be pissed if this happened

30. Indianapolis- Tye Hill

Another great pick

I'd give your Mock a B+

I'm not sure DeAngelo will fall this far with the Jets, Packers, 49ers, and Cardinals all maybe looking for a replacement/upgrade at RB.

I agree that I don't think the Eagles will take a RB in the 1st round, I think they could look WR with Santonio Holmes or defense/OLine.

I don't see the Vikings taking another WR in the 1st round, they just got Williamson last year at #7, plus they have Nate Burleson, Marcus Robinson, Travis Taylor, and Koren Robinson. That is a decent group of WRs, so I don't see them spending another 1st round pick on one. I could see them taking a RB since Bennett and Mewelde have problems staying healthy, I think they'd look for a LenDale White-type power RB if he's available, or maybe to continue fixing up their defense.

I agree that Demeco is too small for a 3-4 and he won't go here.

How is Bunkley too small for a 3-4? He's 6-2, 300 lbs and is supposed to bench press 500+ lbs. I would think he is a prototypical DE for a 3-4.

I don't see the Patriots using a 1st rounder on a WR, especially not with this year's class. There are a lot of decent, primarily bigger WRs this year but not many that would ordinarily be 1st round quality, and with such a deep draft at OLine and defense I don't see more than one or maybe two WRs going in the 1st, and I don't think the Patriots will be one of the teams to take one.

I don't see the Jags getting Maroney with Fred Taylor (yes he's starting to get old and continues to have some injury problems) and Greg Jones.

I agree that Stovall is quite a reach for the 1st round as well, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Broncos trade one of their two 1st round picks off since they have a history of making draft trades and generally don't end up with 1st rounders that much. I could see them either packaging the #22 and #30 together and moving up after someone or else trading one away for later picks (maybe if we trade down with the Jets and end up with three 3rd rounders we could send those to the Broncos for #22 to grab Eric Winston, or they would work some kind of similar deal).

As for the original mock, I have a couple other points:

I still don't see Hawk going in front of Mario, DEs are way more valuable than LBs and I don't see Hawk being that awesome to warrant a top 5 pick, I think if the Packers don't want Mario or DeAngelo Williams that they'll look to trade down and fill one of those positions a little later.

I have seen Vernon Davis go to the 49ers in some mocks, but I really don't think a TE should go that high, especially in this year's draft with so many good TEs and so many other good players. Assuming the 49ers end up at #7 and that Ferguson, Mario, and Hawk are gone, I see the 49ers looking more towards DeAngelo Williams or Haloti Ngata, then looking for their TE in the 2nd round, plus the Jets could pull a surprise and take Cutler or DeAngelo if they really fall in love with one of them. If the 49ers end up with #6, they are guaranteed either Mario, D'Brick, or Hawk and will take whoever is left among them, then I think the Raiders could look at Cutler at #7 since they are in the market for a new QB.

I could see the Lions or Cardinals going with Cutler, assuming he lasts this long which I think he will, but at the same time both teams definitely have some needs to fill so they could look elsewhere in the 1st round and wait until the 2nd to get Omar Jacobs or Brodie Croyle at QB. The Lions could also look at DE (Kiwanuka or someone else), or DB (Huff or Jimmy Williams), OL (maybe Winston Justice), or maybe LB. The Cardinals could look at DE, DB, or definitely look at OLine since Leonard Davis is their only good OLineman and he shouldn't be playing LT, or I could also see the Cardinals going for DeAngelo if they don't think J.J. Arrington is going to be their future RB.

I could definitely see Cleveland going for a LB, and Greenway would be a nice fit in the 3-4, so I wouldn't be at all surprised to see them take him at #12.

I really doubt Marcus McNeill goes in the 1st round, I think Eric Winston will still go in front of him and I think McNeill's potential stops as a great RT and he won't ever be a great LT, so that limits him.

I can see Denver making a trade with their two 1st rounders, they historically love to make draft trades and frequently will draft out of the 1st round all together, so I could definitely see them either packaging the #22 and #30 to move up or use one of them to trade either farther down in the draft and acquire extra picks or trade for a player somewhere (as a side note if we traded with the Jets and got their 3rd rounder, I could see us sending our three 3rds to the Broncos for #22 so we could get Winston or something like that, but that is all speculation at this moment, but I definitely do see Denver maybe making some kind of trade).

I also don't see Ernie Sims going in the 1st round, but it's a possibility.

Darnell Bing could go in the 1st, but I don't think Seattle would be the ones to take him.

I don't see Jonathan Scott going ahead of Eric Winston either, but if leaves him available to us at #33 then that would be great.

Who is Claude Wroten?

Overall this mock was pretty good, but as with any mock there are a few picks that don't make a whole lot of sense, but that tends to happen with all mocks made in January.

jimmy williams is falling and wont go 11

i disagree with yodaa that lendale white is flashier then deangelo williams but i do agree that they would take white over williams. white is absolutely perfect for the ravens system.

i also disagree with the vikes passing on maroney.

they have 5 quality receivers. (krob, mrob, travis taylor, koren robinson, troy williamson) not stars, but that is good depth. I dont see how you can spend a first rounder on santonio holmes. i also dont see how they would trade troy williamson after they drafted him #7

maroney is PERFECT for them. he is home town guy, and he fits perfectly for the vikes.

look at the Vikings' RBs. They are all guys who are under 210 pounds but yet they are powerful and can catch out of the backfield and can break the big one.

mewelde moore-209 lbs
michael bennet-209 lbs
ciatrick fason-207 lbs
moe williams-210 lbs

these guys are all small but they run like they weight 20 lbs more then they do.

laurence maroney-205 lbs
he fits absolutely perfectly. he is 205 but he is incredibly powerful for his size

HELLO? great for them. i dont see how they can pass on him.

i see dallas going offense after they took Ware and Spears last year.

i see chad jackson as a late 1st or early 2nd

i actually really like Maurice Stovall and i dont know why people arent high on him. He is 6'5" 230 lbs. and he runs a 4.55. Mike Williams, WR for the Lions, had about the same statistics and he was considered by many to be the #1 player in the 05' draft. now, im not saying stovall is mike williams, but they have very similar qualities.

with that said, people arent high on him and Stovall is a late 2nd rounder at best

C+ for your draft. not bad, but not great. and thinking Brod Bunkley was an oline man, ummmm...

Claude Wroten is an LSU DT that was expected to go in the 1st but after some recent legal problems (marijuana) he probably won't be in the 1st

And yeah the thing with BB about him being to small for the 3-4, thats just my own personal opinion. I think 3-4 DEs should be around 6-3 310 or bigger

the dolphins' o-line doesn't suck and will only get better. too high for kiwanuka. i don't see why the pats wouldn't take simpson or another defender in favor of chad jackson

Sorry was going to really go over your mock, but you compared a college player to the two best NFL RBs to ever play the game. BTW Bush did not come close to Barry Sanders numbers his senior year. That statement right there completely discredits any intelligent thing you would put in this mock.
