I'd have to agree with youngtexan fan and say I would much rather see us picking up Barron before we picked up a cb who is not bpa at that pt in the draft

why would we take carlos rogers when he's not even the best player at his position left, let alone BPA??

Who do you think is better the Carlos Rogers at cornerback other than Rolle and Jones? Please don't say Justin Miller. His make believe 4.3 40's are really starting to bug me. The guy ran a 4.45 40. Carlos Rogers also ran in the 4.4's and he hit's like Robinson.

That being said, I think 13 is a little early for Rogers.

:hmmm: I think Carlos Rogers will end up as a top two CB . I would take him at 13 . Was'nt he the best defensive player on the # 2 team in the country . Pac Mans name was mentioned early . He's starting to fade a bit . Rolle still has a pro day yet . If he does not run a 4.4 Rogers passes him .

How fast was Dunta last year? WAY to much is taken from 40 times. IT IS NOT A BIG DEAL! Players can play, doesnt matter if the are a 4.4 or a 4.5. I an run a 4.85 does that mean I am going to be drafted? That is faster than some people!

Not only is Dunta fast, but he has great explosion, change of direction and closing speed and that is just as, if not more important, for a CB than straight line speed. I also like that he will stick a tackle, just so he doesn't hurt hiself.

Other than Tuck going twice, this is the best Mock I've seen drawn up by someone around here.

Where's Braylon?

Two Tucks?

Here are my thoughts on your mock...

The Bears probably won't draft Williams...If they draft a receiver, it would be Edwards...That being said, I doubt they go offense with their first pick...I think DJ may go here...

There have been rumors abound that Thomas Davis will not be able to play SS in the NFL...If these rumors are proven true, Davis will slide til at least 16 IMO...

I like the Rogers selection...After seeing him in Auburn's bowl game, I knew he was the real deal...Glenn, D-Rob, and Rogers would for sure be a top 5 CB corps...

Hawthorne and Pool may be a little high, but I can see how it would be possible that the Bengals and Vikings could reach in order to fill a need...

The Ravens will not draft Crowder...They have no need for a MLB, as they will be switching to a 43 defense...Chances are they may still go WR, despite signing Derrick Mason...

I think McFadden is a little high also...

I believe Williamson will go earlier than Clayton...

The Falcons philosophy is to draft o-lineman in the mid-rounds, which may be the reason their o-line is almost as bad as the Texans'...We all know they need an OT, but they will probably target one in the 3rd round and target a FS or OLB...

Browner is likely out of the first after posting slow 40s at the combine, 4.6s I believe...The only way he goes in the first is if a team covets him at the FS position...

:shocked Casserly adds .01 secs for runs at a pro day . I wonder why .
Casserly (and a lot of scouts) adds 0.1 seconds to a non-combine 40. The reason is that these sprints are hand timed with a stopwatch rather than electronically timed as they were at Indy.

Uhhhhhh, Dunta ran a 4.34 at the combine last year, that is why he shot up the draft board from a late 1st rounder to the #10 selection. If you would trust your top CB to run 40 yards down field witha receiver like AJ and he runs a 4.5, then maybe theirs something wrong with you. Not saying that Antrell is not a great talent but he as to be dissapointed with that time because Im sure he knows that to scouts, speed does count alot, and scouts wouldnt put you at CB if you ran a 4.85. Unless you way over 275 Im not impressed with that speed.

Sorry, I had to repaste it, but for some reason I can't edit my orginal post.

I took some of your comments in consideration but somethings I kept the same, Like the Bears and Williams. Williams has better hands than Edwards and is in that tough physical reciever mold that fits the Bears/Lovie Smith persona.
