Saw the do, but missed the story on it ... why does he have the Mr. T thing going on? I hope he's not making a fashion statement.

The announcers mentioned it was a rookie hazing thing. I think Walker and Smith had a little something to do with TJs new style.

Accordind to Travis, Gary Walker and R. Smith got a hold of him and Travis had to wear it during the 1st preseason game.

Yeah Gary and Robaire told him he need a change of hair style and so did a couple of other rookies, plus I think I heard that they also did it for good luck, luckily they tested it during the preseason cause it wasnt very lucky.

oh yeah the hair is great MR. T impersination !!! But not a good fashion statment.
 
what was really funny is when they first showed that on the game.. they just came back from a commercial break right?

well here in college station.. when they went to that commercial break they apparently didnt have any commercials ready.. so it just stayed on the game, and i could hear everything the announcer guys were saying.

The camera zeroed in on TJ and his haircut..and the announcer said:

"good god!...... holy sh**... will you look at this? all he needs is some earrings and a few chains around his neck"
 
I maybe in the minority but I think that he should keep it. Think about it, G-Funk could be Hannible, Carr could be Face and Jason Simmons can be "Howling Mad" Murdock.

Mr. T look-a-like discussion aside, I was impressed with Travis Johnson's play against the Broncos. There were several times when he just manhandled the Denver offensive lineman and just pushed them back. Hopefully he will continue to improve.

I liked how he played too. There was a play when he pushed the Broncos OLineman back 2 or 3 yards, and then extended his right arm out to push Dayne and knocked him back about 4 yards or so. I can't wait to see more of him against Oakland.
 
I just want to know which one of us fans are going to be the first to show up at a game with a replica hairstyle of Mr T's.
 
holy crap i should do that! that would be sweet to bad my hair wouldnt look as good as when TJ does it lol

That was hilarious. I live in College Station too, so I got to see it.
