Morlon Greenwood

I thought I read somewhere that he had already became a citizen, but I guess not...

Has anyone heard his new CD? We went from James Allen *aka* Mercillis to Morlon Greenwood *aka* Ultimate :heh:

Hahaha man.....football players are music artists these days? lol didnt see that one coming specially from a jamacian native....go figure haha

If Greenwood is a Hip Hop performer, apparently he's come to the right place.
I'm definitely not a Hip Hop fan, nevertheless I stumbled across an article in
no less of an authority the the NY Times that says Houston is on the verge
of exploding as a Hip Hop center. I had no idea 'cause I thought the only thing big in Houston was C & W.
From the article:
"The video is "Still Tippin'," by Mike Jones with Slim Thug and Paul Wall, and it's the latest hit to come from the hip-hop scene of Houston, which has been producing some of the country's best and weirdest rap music since the late 1980's. An obsessive fan could go broke trying to round up the dozens of hip-hop CD's that the city produces not every year but every month.
Altogether, Houston seems about to explode. But then again, as the veterans will tell you, chuckling knowingly, it has seemed that way before. "

Somebody on the Board needs to adopt that "Slim Thug" handle.
Here's the complete link - no cost to get membership with the Times website:

Houston has the nation's best underground rap scene, but Mike Jones and Paul Wall are clowns...

Regarding somebody adopting a "Slim Thug" name here, we already have "LikeABoss" which is the name of his hit single from his new album...

I can see it now though, Ultimate is gonna blow up with his 4 remixes of his song "Skylines" :heh:
