Morlon Greenwood on NFL Network!

1. 12 other teams were interested in him. :whew
2. His Agent told him to go to Houston first, and also told him he'd love it and wouldn't wanna leave.
3. Where he was from...how he was introduced to football by a coach..."stay right here and dont go offsides" :heh:
4. Born in Kingston, Jamaica...moved to NY in 89..started football in 11th grade, went to the Cuse, drafted by MIA...signed by HOU! :thumbup

It comes on again tonight...at 11 I think...so check it out.

I will for sure, thanks for the info, did he say anything about how he felt about playing for us if he was excited or anything?

I'm hoping he turns out to be the next Donnie Edwards. Just a little wishful thinking on my part. :)

well obviously the coaches saw something in him, to be paying him what we are paying him, a lot of people think we WAY over paid, i just hope he proves them wrong !

Me too. People talk about overpaying good players to come to bad or expansion teams but come on, the guy is coming from the Dolphins! :)

Its 9:00 ct and NFL Network is now showing the replay of the Marlon Greenwood interview. Well atleast its coming up later during the show, if youmissed it you may want to tune in. I will be.

OK thanks, is it football season yet??????????????????????? :shocked I am going NUTSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ha--strange interview to watch. I get the feeling Rich Eisen's not used to interviewing guys who actually expand on their answers, because their interaction was really poor. Anyway, Greenwood seems to have a personality, which is nice. I am most definitely one of the people who thinks we grievously overpaid for this guy, but I would be THRILLED to be proven wrong by mid-season!

I know a Buffalo Bills fan who says he hated having to see that guy twice a season. I hope there will be many Indy, Tenn, and Jville fans that feel the same way this year.

Me to, but I also hope I'm wrong in my initial thoughts about picking
him up. Amoung our Inside backers, none of them could really run. I was
a big Sharper fan and Jamie was quick but did not possess a lot of foot speed.
I mean if the balls at one hash mark and they have a rushing play that sweeps to the other side of the field then the backer has some ground to cover to have a shot at catching the ball carrier even with a descent angle.
They seem to think this 3-4 plays right into Greenwoods strength cause he
can run.
